I bought a Maverick recently from Heritage Valley Ford in Brooklyn and it couldn't have been easier. Tim W. was kind and knowledgeable about the truck as well as the ordering/delivery process. Once the truck arrived, I think we were at the dealership for only half an hour to finance and pick it up. Speaking for the service department-

I've taken my vehicle there a couple times both times I got my vehicle back in worse condition then I brought it in. But I'll be speaking mostly about my recent experience. So I take my car in there to do a tie rod & alignment. They also call and say "your lower control arm needs to be replaced." I ask the young lady how much it will be she tells me 960 plus tax. I go in there to pay them for the job, she tells me a price of 1,460 + dollars. I almost freaked out! And during their test drive supposedly a cv axle boot pops. Which i know it was fine prior to me bringing it in their shop but one of the guys try an tell me it's been like that before I brought it in which I tell them no it wasn't because I checked it before I brought it to them. They showed me a picture of the boot issue and there's grease all over the tire the new parts, everywhere. Then they renig and tell me it happened during the "test drive". Only if you seen the pictures of the mess they left, didn't even bother to clean the grease off of the new parts and sent me on my way with a huge mess. They tried charging me another 600 bucks to take care of the boot issue which I feel they caused on purpose. I told them no, I will never bring my vehicles there again to there service department and I hope other people realize this as well. Both times I have gone there I left feeling used and taken advantage of and leave with more problems then when I entered, on top of feeling heavily over charged. It's really a shame. I will again be on the look out for a garage that I can actually trust.
