Cc Gilmore and I have been working together harmoniously on a large home renovation project for the past few moths. The expectations from both parties were made clear from the onset. There is absolutely no way I would meet the completion date if Cc weren't in the scene. For the past few months, she has dillegently inspected the project two times a week to report on progress (I'm out of state). She is also working directly with my contractor in order to keep the work on task. I have worked in design and decor in the past and I am aware of the very small and large details that go into home renovations. It's a LOT of work! Cc has made multiple 2 hour trips (one-way) to Phoenix on my behalf, and let's call it like it is, it's dang hot there! I am thankful for this. Cc is a joyful person by nature and she is very good at what she does. I am reaping the rewards of all of her previous experience, and talent in the arena of design. Though this project isn't finished yet, we are on track with completion timing. I can say with confidence and sincerity that I'd use Cc Gilmore again in a heartbeat, and I'd happily refer her to others. She's making my project fun, and I believe I have a new friend. :)-

My experience with this store quickly changed when I questioned their markup. After working through a few projects with the owner, here are a few key takeaways:
1. I was unexpectedly charged $14,500 for the owner to be present for 8 hours of a whole home set up. This charge was not discussed in advance but a lovely surprise after purchasing a home full of already marked up furniture from them. (With a 3% adder if I'd like to pay by credit card.)
2. We were charged for foundations on mattresses that were never delivered. When I asked about those, I was told they were a wash with the movers fee for install. Then I was also charged for the movers fee.
3. An order was placed for furniture to be delivered to Texas. Only after accepting the order and payment made was I informed that the vendor wouldn't ship to TX but not to worry, she was going to deliver it to me herself. Feeling bad for her at the time, I told the owner I never would have placed the order if I knew she'd have to go so far out of her way and I felt terrible. Fast forward to me questioning markup on items for a different project and stating that I wasn't comfortable being pushed to order furniture 9 months before our house was going to be ready, I told her I did not want to continue working together. She then entered our home in Sedona without permission and left thousands of dollars of furniture in the garage that were meant to be in Texas. Had she been upfront from the beginning, the order never would have been placed.
I didn't ask, but was informed that they "do not accept returns".

We worked with CC to design and supplement furnishings in our Sedona home. She was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and tuned in to our tastes. Her shop is THE place for quality stylish home furnishings in Sedona.

Cece Gilmore is an amazing Designer! My experience has been a 5+++. Working with her has been a joy! Her design advice and expertise has truly turned my home into a fresh and inviting gathering place. If you get a chance make sure you pop in to see her and browse the store. She always has new arrivals of clothing, home furnishings and accessories! She has my vote for the very best designer in Sedona!

Best place for better/fine furniture in Sedona! They have access to over 8,000 suppliers. They do not "rob" you with high mark-ups and have been in the decorator business for over 25 years. We just keep going back whenever we shop for our home. You can spend less - you get what you pay for, too. Here at Habitat, you get better built furniture and higher quality fabrics/leathers and other furniture types for sometimes less than what you'd pay for an inferior quality product. I like my money to go as far as I can take it, and Habitat fits my criteria. Enjoy the expert CiCi and her help. Very insightful once she knows what you have and what you want.

CC has worked with a number of my home buyers and has always created wonderful designs that fit the individuals needs. She is adept at working with varying style preferences and within budget. All of my clients who have worked with her have been very happy with the results. I have personally enjoyed the retail opportunities in the Habitat Sedona store finding unique house accessories, linens and some great clothing items! CC and her store are a gem in Sedona!

Our experience with HABITAT has been very professional and pleasing. We recently decided to replace/update our dining room chairs. Cc Gilmore, Owner and Interior Designer, successfully helped us find a beautiful leather Sedona-style dining chair that coordinates beautifully with our eclectic decor. Next, she assisted us with purchasing wool wall-to-wall carpet for our home's bedrooms. Cc found the best, American Made carpet and a top-notch installer. She has a huge collection of resources, a beautiful sense of style and keen eye, professional staff to assist in all areas and she listens to the client to garner as much knowledge as possible to fulfill their desires. CC is beyond amazing! She helped us completely design and decorate our new home. Her style is both impeccable and also very functional for our family with young children. She has a wonderful ability to listen to what style we wanted and provide options for what might work in the space. She was very thoughtful in selection of fabric that can handle “life” with a family and pets. CC is very responsive and attentive to EVERY detail. As we were out of town for most of the process, she handled every aspect of setting up our house. When we arrived for the first time we were absolutely amazed how she transformed our once empty house into a fully-functioning home.

CC brought a lightheartedness to a daunting project and made it a fun experience for our entire family. My kids still love stopping by her store! We could not have handled this project without CC’s help.
