It takes one bad employee to destroy years of confidence and satisfaction with a place
I’ve been going to this place for many years and I’ve normally had very good service -This time I went up to get a fitting for a pipe and there was an old nasty man in plumbing who was rude aggressive and very condescending -almost looking for a fight with customers
Wow!!!
Tried to call the manager, but he was busy so I didn’t have time to waste. Besides, I was so shaken up by his attitude that I needed to get away from this place.

Just another great Ace Hardware. Great assortment of products. They are well staffed and everyone is very helpful. Prices are not the best though, but that’s not their niche.

This store has a little of EVERYTHING and is well staffed with helpful folks. I could have ordered what I needed from the dominant big box DIY store and waited 4 to 7 days. Griffen ACE Hardware had it on the shelf at the same price. They have packed out the space with an incredible range of products, just like the hardware stores of yesteryear. I was greeted when I entered and offered help finding what I needed by three different employees throughout the store. Note: there is a second floor.
This is a grown person's candy store.

Friendly folks, has 95% of what I need and it takes me 2-3x less time to find it than a big box store. This translates into big savings. The only thing I wish they had was drywall sheets, they have pretty much everything else.
It's also a true hardware store, whereas neither Lowe's nor HD have a hardware section they only stock common size screws and fasteners, and only US sizes.

Great place, not the biggest but not the smallest one. Chances are if you've seen something and an Ace before, they have it. I can't say the same about all the Aces because some of them are quite a bit smaller than this one. The selection is pretty average. Of course they have a bolt bin.
