I love this Colorado ranch that is family owned. I’m on the carnivore diet with a splash of fruit and raw dairy. The diet really pushes organs, which can be hard to choke down. The diet also stresses the importance of getting grass fed red meat. So, in my search to find something palatable I found Grande Premium Meats (aka Elk USA) had this blend of elk and liver that is AMAZING!
I only trust small family owned businesses. I know they care about the animals and the way they are butchered-low cortisol levels.
Not only are the products amazing, but the customer service was excellent too!

I absolutely had a blast, I got to stroke the antlers of an elk and I didn’t realize how warm and alive they were. Absolutely beautiful. Spent some time looking at all the signs. I did buy some meat. I love that you can actually buy some goods there. I smelled something, so I bought it, it’s so warm.

Oh my, this place is DELICIOUS! I stopped in and got myself an elk NY Strip, a couple of elk jerky sticks, hickory smoked season salt and some goat milk fudge. I seasoned the elk steak liberally with the Hickory seasoning, salt and then butter-basted it to medium rare. Elk is pretty lean so it needs some fat while it’s cooking. I served it with some roasted brussels sprouts and an ice cold beer. It was one of the best steaks I have ever had, I probably could have cut it with a fork. The goat milk fudge wasn’t my favorite. It was pretty grainy and overly soft, but the flavor was good. The elk meat sticks were a great snack and my dog loves the antler chews.

Do not sell these people antlers, save yourself the trouble they are rude, racist, and down right rippoffs wanting to pay .50 cents a pound for solid brown antlers. The short lady with glasses is so hateful and rude. Do not do business here. THE ONLY REASON THEY GET ONE STAR IS BECAUSE YOU DONT HAVE OPTIONS FOR ZERO!!!!, I would recommend you to traders rendezvous in gunnison he’s way better!

Talk about a hidden gem! Stumbled upon this place on our way to Pagosa Springs and I instantly fell in love. Amazing atmosphere with a cool little old west town going on with their shops and saloon. The product they sell is top notch, I just wish I lived closer.

Neat place to pick up some gifts and packaged meats. Wonderful to see the elk romping around. We most usually stop here during our travels through southern Colorado. We will return in the future!

I was driving down the road and I thought to myself, I would like a slab of elk meat. Perfect place for that. Could not figure out pricing so loss of one star. Friendly staff. Very cool place. At least stop for some jerky.
