We stopped just to take pictures of the old military Jeeps out front and had no idea that the place was a museum and that there was more inside - so much more!! Terry Gillette, the owner came outside and introduced himself and invited us to look around. He is a Veteran and gunsmith who is informative, friendly and is passionate about educating people on history and has so much military knowledge! He has quite a collection of military vehicles that he saved from being scrapped. He has also amassed quite a collection of military memorabilia that is stunning! What a pleasure to spend time talking with him and if you are in the area - be sure to stop and visit. So glad that we did!

Awesome military and history museum! Mr. Gillette, the owner, has a plethora of information and he talked with us for 30 minutes while giving us a tour. Amazing artifacts and extensive knowledge! Don’t miss it! This gentleman doesn’t want tips but we insisted on buying something from him to support him. Amazing!

Gillette's Trading Post Museum is the best, most concentrated collection of military artifacts I've ever seen. Ranging from the Colonial Wars to Afghanistan, you'll see an amazing display in this small, but powerful Museum.

Call first just to be sure he is open. It's a one man show, but oh My God what a show it is!
