Called on a Monday, he was here on Tuesday right on the dot of the appointment. Fixed the washer in no time .Gave me lots of hints and tips on other appliances as well, very friendly, courteous and reasonable.

Terrible. Last time I went there they were so helpful, a little overpriced but very good. Now, a totally different story. I went to their location, doors locked, I called the number, got redirected to some parts order warehouse that didn't know anything about George's when I asked about the location. He said they probably don't do parts anymore. Yet if you Google them, they are open and all is good. I hate it when businesses don't update their Google listing.
Anyway, I founds Combs Appliances in Brooksville, they were awesome...

I made the huge mistake of buying a maytag washing machine because they used to be a machine you could rely on. I've had nothing but trouble with this thing since I bought it. Thankfully I purchased the extended warranty so for the five years I've had it, I have had everyone around come "fix" it. Think Georges was our 6th service call. I wish Asurion had sent Georges out first. George's is the only place that not only fixed the problem but also didn't break something else. The machine seems to be running better than when it was brand new. Thank you Georges for finally getting us up and running and for fighting with insurance on our behalf to get the work done. Thank you for maintaining such great communication through the whole process as well. Highly recommend them.

I called Monday February 5th and set up appt and was told tech would call me at 8 am on Tuesday February 6th to give me a 2 hour window well Tuesday came and no call. I call them when I got time at 11am and was told sorry someone should have called you. The tech called out and we can't make it today. We can have tech call you at 8am tomorrow the 7th of February to give 2 hour window . I said ok but then thought about it and called and business. They were able to come today Tuesday the 6th of February. So called George's back and canceled. Will not use them anymore. Will use new biz from now on.

Beware. I tried to schedule service based on their offer of a window time of either 8am to 12pm or 12pm and later. I chose 8am to 12pm because I am generally busy in the afternoons. I received a call from the tech informing me that he would be here around 1pm. Unfortunately I needed to leave by 3pm that day so I rescheduled. I chose their 8am to 12pm option again. At 11:30 there is no tech yet and I needed to be gone by 2:30 that day. So I attempted to reschedule but I was refused any further requests to use them for service because I wasn't available when they attempted to get here after the window I chose and that they offered.

Hey George here's some advice. You're recording states that you're short staff. You shouldn't offer time frame windows if you can't honor them. If only you had informed me that you can't promise a time frame then I would have picked a day where I can be available all day. Good day to you sir. 🙃😉😊

Contacted them in February 2022 to repair my Viking refrigerator that was having trouble holding temperature in the freezer. It’s now May 2023 and the issue has still not been resolved.

It’s impossible to get updates or communication from anyone at this company. Their M-F business hours are listed as 8:30am - 4:00pm but they purposefully don’t answer the phone until 10:30 in the morning. They also shut their phones off after 3:00. They’ll schedule service appointments AND provide a two-hour arrival window, and then just never show up.

They claimed that ordered parts were “backordered”, with no estimated time of arrival. I finally called and demanded to speak with Jason or another manager… and *MAGICALLY* the part that had been on backorder for well over 14 months was now due to arrive in just a few days.

Shockingly, the part did not resolve the issue, and I’m exactly where I was when I originally called George’s for service in February of last year.

In my entire year and a half relationship as a consumer with George’s, this morning was the first time I’ve had the pleasure of speaking with Tom, who introduced himself as a service manager. Over a year and a half of back and forth, hassle, broken promises, missed calls and missed appointments, today was the first day a manager became involved - this is embarrassingly unacceptable. To make matters worse, Tom’s response was not apologetic or understanding, but rather a call to inform me that “we don’t want this repair any longer”, and requested to “get off the line”.

It’s painfully obvious they are not equipped to service high end appliance brands, and will tell you as such. If you’re in the market for a company that will negatively affect your mental health, then look no further than George’s Appliance Center, Inc.

My first time using George's and I couldn't be happier. The diagnostic service call was on time and was quick and efficient. The actual repair was handled expertly and my Washing Machine is back up and running. Thanks for great service! I know where to go next time I need appliance repair and service!
