I have wanted to buy a funky sofa for literally a decade. Recently I finally got the perfect opportunity so I ordered some fabric samples. The order was canceled but I was never notified that it was canceled. I finally figured it out by accidentally downloading the Shop app which somehow knew about the order. Then I used the chat on their website to ask and got zero reply. Next I emailed them, and still got zero reply. Finally I called them, talked to someone who said she would find out and let me know, but guess what…zero reply. Whoever is in charge of customer service at this company needs to be fired. I have no idea how good the furniture is and honestly I don’t care to find out. I’m not risking several thousand dollars with a company that doesn’t have the decency to return an email. Sooo disappointed!

Update.. today I received the second set of samples that I ordered. I paid $1 per sample. Please look at the size of the samples in the picture and tell me if that looks appropriate or not. The purple velvet is barely bigger than a penny.

My wife and I made our first online furniture purchase through Funky Sofa. We ordered the Ellwood Sofa in Caribbean Plush Velvet. It is a very cool retro couch. Upon completion of order, the turnaround time until it was delivered to our door was very quick. The packaging it came in was very sturdy and protected the piece well. The price was VERY reasonable considering the quality and craftsmanship that went into it! We would definitely recommend Funky Sofa to a friend and will consider them for our next furniture purchase!

This is the first review I have ever posted, but I wanted to give a positive shout-out to Funky Sofa. I have ordered from them twice in the past 6 years - first the Marilyn, and just recently the Montana - and have had a terrific experience both times. Personally, I have never encountered any issues with their customer service and have found everyone I spoke with to be pleasant and responsive. The quality and construction of the sofas is excellent, (the one purchased 6 years ago has held up very well with lots of use), and their prices are extremely competitive for pieces that are so fun and unique. Plus, it felt good purchasing from a small, independently-owned manufacturer. The first sofa I ordered took about 6 weeks to arrive, and am hoping this second one will be about the same. I can't wait to see it! I have definitely referred them to friends, one of whom did place an order and also had a great experience, and will continue to refer them in the future.

At first I was hesitant to order a sofa online. But! It has arrived and I love it....the fabric is luxurious and the detailed quality of craftsmanship is excellent. The customer service when placing the order and throughout the ordering and delivery process was great....all my questions and revisions were handled in a timely and professional manner, making me and my inquiries both feel welcomed. Luxury and unique style at an affordable price! I love my new sofa!

I'm really thrilled with my beautiful Skye love seat hidabed. I've had it about a month now. I got it in purple and even customized the front panels with goldenrod and the edges with dark purple (crushed velvet) piping. Where in the world can you get a custom funky sofa? I wish I could put a picture here it's so adorable. I didn't sweat it about the timing. Hello. It's custom made. That takes time! So what if it's a bit longer than the website says. Chill! Everything works perfectly and the fabric is great! In the last month I've run into two other folks that bought furniture from Funky sofa. One here in the Seattle area where I live, and one in Santa Barbara, CA. They are also happy with the pieces they bought!

Buyer beware: I never received essential (not decorative) sofa cushions that I paid for. I have never had such a shocking customer service experience in my life. I spent $2,300 on a sleeper-sectional. When it arrived it was not was I had ordered. I contacted funky sofa, but only ever received their answering service. Getting rather desperate I left multiple emails asking them to please get in contact with me. Jack Barton, the sales rep who had sold me the sectional on the phone a few months prior, finally got in contact with me and said that he would send me a cushion for the chaise so that the sectional would be slightly closer to what I had tried to purchase. This was a compromise, but I was so relieved that someone had finally gotten in touch with me at all, that I was grateful and didn't give it another thought. A month later nothing arrived. I sent him a polite note asking when he expected it to ship. Nothing. He had outright lied to me. Told me he would send it, put on a good show, asked me for measurements for the back of the chaise. Nothing ever came and I never heard from him or anyone at the company again. I have dozens of email correspondence with the company asking them where my package is, where is the chaise cushion that I have been expecting for over 6 months now - and no one has ever gotten in touch! It is so ridiculous that it sounds unbelievable, but please be warned. Do not purchase anything over the phone or online from this company. Perhaps if you live in California and can pick up something from the showroom then you may be safe, but do not trust them to send you what you pay for. I had spent months searching for the perfect sofa and spent a great deal of money on what I thought would be a wonderful addition to my apartment. I am so disappointed.

Also, their atomic fabric - I ordered my sofa in Laguna - pills terribly. In about six months the sofa looks old and rather tatty.

I just received my sofa and armchair from Funky Sofa and I LOVE THEM!!! I searched high and low to find some "fun" furniture to replace my bright blue sofa and chair that wore out. I also needed to find something that was small enough to fit my living room, and made of fabrics that were at least somewhat resistant to pet hair and nails. As if that wasn't enough to ask, I also wanted to find some bright colors/fun prints that could work with my wild-colored walls. AND I needed it to be affordable!

After weeks of searching locally and online the obvious choice was Funky Sofa. I ordered the Marilyn sofa in purple microsuede, and the Desilu chair in wild pony. The customer service (Sherri) was great and responsive and gave me suggestions for fabrics and matching pillows, and they even put up with me paying with about 5 different gift cards. They also held up the order for me so it wouldn't arrive until I got back from a trip.

Now it's here and I'm so happy with it! Just be aware that if you order the Silver Touch delivery service (I think it's called) they only bring the boxes into your room and put them where you want them--they don't unpack them. And make sure your doorways can accommodate the size of the box, which is quite a bit bigger than the furniture itself.

Great selection, great service, great quality. What more can I say?

I have ordered 360 Lounger which is worth $950. Waited more than 3 months to deliver which is very longtime but I was okay as it was custom one. The lounger was delivered with the tear in the seat cushion near the zipper. Overall quality is not so good for the price we paid!I have contacted owner directly via text and he had responded well and promised to send the new seat cushion. It was more than 45 days and i haven't received the cushion cover yet and when i tried to contact the customer service the reply would be some one will be contacting you soon. But no one will contacted later. Customer service is worst one could ever get!! BE AWARE OF THEM unless you want to spend 6 months to get a custom furniture.. I would never recommend ordering from them as it will be great waste of time and money...
