Again sorry I went there. Bought silicone caulk, $13. Then use caulk to install RV skylight n cover, n find it won't set. Wasn't supposed to be sold after 2021.Came to find their entire batch of GE silicone w same date. I talked to Mgr about my lost time n having to clean off defective caulk w another product. Really thought they'd offer me some help. Got O. I won't forget this. Thx

This Ace needs to be shut down, it's a joke. They have next to nothing as far as useful inventory and what they do have is over priced. The old lady behind the counter is a Karen and thinks it gives her some kind of power. Branford Ace is 10 minutes down the road and 110% better store, stock AND employee wise!

I'm severley disabled and went in to pick up some screws and nuts to assemble a new mailbox. MR. DONNY noticed I had shake hands. He assembled the entire project.

It was challenging for him. I can't imagine how disastrous it would have been had I gone home to do it myself.

MR. DONNY spent a lot of time with me on a sale of $4.50. Most employees at Huge Home Improvement stores would have sent me home with some nuts and bolts. He went above and beyond.

The people here are attentive and eager to help. The prices are a bit steep, but you pay for the convenience. The selection is fair and surprisingly diverse. I often like hitting up these small town hardware stores because they can be a treasure trove for odd things but this one is fairly modern. I recommend this for convenience and service, but if you're a treasure hunter... look elsewhere.

LOUSY CUSTOMER SERVICE AND NO COMMON SENCE!!!. Went to them for the first time ever a week ago. Got 5, 2.5 gallon chlorine refills because our local store was out of chlorine. Fort White Hardware kept our 5 good quality jugs from Pinch a Penny and gave us the junk thin yellow jugs they carry. Went back this week for more refills. One of the worn out, weather baked, piece of junk jugs they gave us got a Crack in transit. They Wanted an extra $10 to replace the piece of junk and would not make any cosessions. Said it was our tough luck, Happens all the time with their jugs. In 15 years of getting chlorine weekly I have never had a damaged jug dealing with the Pinch a Penny gold jugs, which I bought. There price is also the highest we have ever paid for refills. Don't use them unless you have no other choice. LOUSY CUSTOMER SERVICE AND NO COMMON SENCE!!!

Great experience, friendly and helpful staff. You will spend a little more at Lowes or home depot but you will find the customer service is dismal at best , shop local and if I have to spend a couple of extra bucks to get a great experience I will.
