Today, I stopped by the Ace Hardware Store located at 1136 Forest Ave to get a bar shortened. John helped me and he was amazing! Highly experienced with a friendly attitude. He even didn't charge me for the cut becasue it was a small. I also noticed that the store manager was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this store for anyone who needs help with Hardware.

We came from out of town and had an engine part come lose, so we desperately needed nuts to reattach it since it wasn't safe to drive (especially since we were driving back across state that afternoon). The two gentlemen working the registers (Francisco and Marcos) were very helpful, and Marcos was kind enough to come out to my car to help me figure out the right size since I couldn't detach the screws.

The store made about $2 off the sale, but the world would be better off with people like these two and I'm grateful for their help.

I think what I expect from this store is far below what they achieve.

I have come in a few times, because they had a few things I was interested in. I could not find anywhere in person. The teams are really nice folks, that have always taken their time to help me out with anything I am looking for.

I went out of my way to spend some more money here because they really are a decent experience. Not too busy, but fairly flowing. a rugged team that at least makes me feel like they are talking to me. Not through me.

I haven't had a bad experience in any way. I always seem to leave with a smile and the teams have done a wonderful job keeping the shop up to pace.

I am not looking for super clean, super duper organized or even somewhere with all the new things. What they do have? An awesome selection of plumbing equipment without a hundred kids running around. They have an awesome bolt and nuts location with everything easily accessible not locked away. With fun little bags to keep tabs on what I'm picking out.

I like being left alone too and just wondering and I found this place was fun to find some new projects to think about.

Again, they do a wonderful job for me and I'm super happy when ever I stop by.

Some of the younger guys have been really helpful and consistently see them helping others. Older guys do a wonderful job with the right knowledge. The ladies in the shop are wonderful and helpful as well.

An employee ran around the store assisting other customers with various questions and needs, all while color matching and mixing three cans of paint for me—these people are awesome, hard working, and helpful. This store is probably a quarter of the size as the Ace I used to shop at in Morro Bay, yet always (mostly) have what I’m looking for.
