If you’re looking for a beautiful and quiet place to stay for your Florida vacation look no further then Lido Key!

As someone who grew up vacationing to Siesta Key, I can assure you we will be Lido Key vacationers now! The house we booked was perfectly situated on a quiet street just minutes from anything you need. The house was beautifully remodeled to modern style and had a huge outdoor area.

From the house you could see the entrance to Lido Key Beach and it was just a 3 minute walk across the street to put your toes in the sand!

St. Armands Circle was an easy 14 minute walk from the house with sidewalks to get you there! If you don’t feel like walking or paying for parking in St. Armonds, we suggest the VEO electric bike and scooter rentals! These can be found in multiple locations around the Key with the closest to the house being the ones at the entrance of Lido Key Beach (a 3 minute walk from the house). We would go to the beach in the mornings then jump on the scooters/bikes and head over to St. Armands for brunch at Daiquiri Deck, Crisp Waffle, or Meaney’s Mini Donuts!

This was the first time we’ve booked with a company through AirBnB and we are impressed! The FLVacation representatives are fast to respond and very accommodating! Everything was cleaned and staged thoroughly! We arrived in the early morning (2am) and they allowed us to pick up our keys after hours to be able to check in. We highly recommend!

Had used Florida Vacation Connections in the past with great results... BUT when a rental owner sold their property (allegedly), 47 days before reservation date, the true mettle of the staff showed. While John apologized, he had no replacements and only offered lip service to helping me find a replacement. A promised email was not sent and a requested phone call came long after the requested time (his schedule not mine)... with no tangible help. Given that I had plane tickets invested, there was no turning back. I finally found an Airbnb on my own. Florida Vacation Connection had my substantial deposit for 159 days and promptly refunded my money without any interest. Use FVC at your own risk... and hope for the best, because they were not helpful when things got challenging. Sorry!

Except for the view, this condo was disappointing on all fronts. Although they charge paid $350 for a cleaning charge, the floors were filthy when we got there (our socks were black). No ammenities…. One roll of toilet paper per bathroom for two weeks. No basics like
S &p or even a coffee filter. The twin beds in the second bedroom were extremely old and need replacing. They left about 6 oz of dishwashing soap. The bar soap was a sliver. The dryer took 7 hours to dry one load. All appliances need replacing. Linens were not fresh and didn’t feel at all fresh or clean. Not enough facecloths for 4. Not enough towels and some had stains. The icemaker was broken. The master bathroom tub wouldn’t drain… For 12 k, no maid service… No instructions for the tv… you get the picture. So much for the Resort at longboat key. Building 2, room 2007. The Longboat key resort.

I'm an owner who works with Florida Vacation Connection (FVC) to manage our condo in Longboat Key. We switched over to FVC a couple of years ago, and we've had a great experience with them. When there are renter needs, they address them promptly while keeping us up to date. Our condo experienced significant damage from the hurricanes last fall, and FVC pitched right in to help with the renovation efforts. They've been a great resource, and the people at FVC are a delight to work with!

We enjoyed our stay at beachplace on longboat key. I was happy to have found Sue Vandiver at Florida Vacation Connection…Sue made our rental process easy and seamless. I would definitely rent from Sue again- the views from the condo on the Gulf of Mexico were amazing and overall the condo was in good shape and extremely clean. We stayed at Longboat Key in a wonderful house. The property is called soaring spirits. For so many years we have been visiting LBK, but this time our vacation was the best ever. The house was furnished with so much taste and love for detail. I have never felt so much at home immediately. The kitchen was very spacious and very modern. Cooking there was so much fun. The bedrooms very gorgeous, too. Especially the beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms were luxurious and modern. The kids especially loved the pool. Thank you for the perfect holiday.

GREAT! We have been return clients 4 years, longboat key beach front properties. Always grand! Grandkids really enjoy our visits. Staff is great! We had a tv go out this year and one text message we received a new one. Highly recommend.

We have booked vacation homes through Florida Vacation Connection quite a few times and have never been disappointed. We absolutely love Lido Key and Longboat Key! The homes we have rented with Florida Vacation Connection were all beautiful and very clean. Plenty of towels and good quality linens. Inquires/issues are dealt with right away. We just returned from a wonderful vacation staying at a property with a great view of the Bay - it was truly amazing. I will continue to book vacation homes with Florida Vacation Connection again.
