The men worked professionally, diligently and very carefully with all our furniture. They moved everything and put plastic all around every piece of furniture and walls. However, since they lifted up all the tiles the dust was unbearable. Even after a few days, there is still a lot of dust. However, the floors came out beautifully and your workers are highly recommended. Posted a few pics.

This is our second experience with Empire. We had porcelain tile put down about five years ago, and also carpeted the living room. I decided now to get rid of the carpet and have the area tiled. They no longer carried the original tile, so I thought I would think outside the box. I went with a different tile but stayed with the same colors. But the salesman suggested maybe going with a herringbone pattern when laying the tile. I am so glad he did. It turned out beautiful and I love it. And it doesn't clash that much where the two different tiles meet. The only thing I have negative to say is that the installers would have done a better job of cleaning the tiles before they left. We pick up a lot of residue when we walk across it in our socks. Other than that, they did an excellent job of installing.

Because of a flooding issue due to a plumbing leak, we needed to buy new carpeting for our guest bedrooms. The Sales Rep Nick was knowledgeable and very helpful with no pressure and the install team led by Eric was on time, efficient and set up the furniture exactly the way we wanted. Waiting on Empire to provide any resolution to the damage they caused my property from a lvp install.

They reinstalled the master bathroom toilet incorrectly, leading to water damage on the first story roof.

They broke the grill of a brand new fridge.

They reinstalled a brand new dishwasher incorrectly so now it doesn't drain and has standing water.

They broke a slat on a vertical blind, didn't say anything and just threw it away.

The sliding glass door in the living room is now barely able to be opened, either from excessive glue usage or the inability to measure correctly.

Glue is all over our brand new cabinets and countertops.

I submitted a claim 2 hours after the install was completed on 10.21.24. I have called and been passed back and forth from rep to rep with no real resolution in sight.

We used Empire at our previous home with no issues. Our experience is extremely disappointing. As it stands, I will end up spending close to the same amount of money repairing the damage to my property that I spent on installing the floor.

If you value your home, time, money or have any self respect, you will stay far away from this company.

Edit:

Received correspondence from the Tampa FL installation managervia email on 10.23.23 stating we should have paid out of pocket to resolve any plumbing issues caused by their installation team. They will send out a team member to reinstall the toilet but fail to understand how they can have any responsibility for any of the damages they caused during the installation.

As it stands, the Tampa FL Empire location does not operate in good faith.

It has officially been a week since the installation was completed and I have still not been scheduled a time for anyone from customer service to resolve the installation issues. I have been given phone numbers that are not even for the same region or have just been ignored entirely. We ended up just hiring a plumber to fix the toilet, because it's actually necessary to have one operational in a home. The plumber provided pictures of the wax seal before and after installing the new item. They stated any installation crew regardless of if they are "plumbers" or not would know that this would cause issues, as there was no seal, and the toilet was just floating in the air hypothetically.

The sliding glass door still barely opens. Empire refuses to acknowledge that a door that rubs against newly installed floors is their error.

The owner that responds to these reviews does nothing. This is 100% optics with no actual action from the company. The contract locks us into arbitration, which is something we will explore once we get quotes on repairing the sliding glass door, dishwasher and fridge that were damaged by the installation crew to see if it's even worth investing the time and resources for counsel.

Empire is an unethical and dishonest company specifically for the Tampa FL location. Please heed this warning as there is no benefit working with them. They will not stand by their work and are extremely difficult to work with.

A few years after we arrived here in Florida we found our dream home. We were able to purchase the house for a great price at a reasonable percentage rate. However it was not a dream when we first found it. It was what we called “the pink palace “! The walls were pink, the bathrooms and countertops were pink! Same story in the kitchen. We painted the walls and then updated the countertops and cabinets. Then we contacted Empire Today. We got a quote that included all that we hoped for for our home. We got 12” tiles for some areas and hardwood floors in other areas. We were very pleased. I highly recommend Empire Today. The entire team did everything to ensure that we received excellent service and support throughout the entire process of having our floors installed.

I have used Empire on my previous home and just got new floors at my new home. The Salesman Mike was amazing and very helpful. Installation was good they were careful and made sure that the furniture was moved and they were careful and just did an overall great job!

3/5 because of how the financing went down. 0% financing for a year through Well Fargo, and unbeknownst to me Well Fargo opened a credit card on my behalf which I plan on following up with the banking regulator about. While it's not Empire's issue, my issue with Empire on this is that they seemed completely clueless about this when I followed up with them about it and it wasn't mentioned in the paperwork I signed.

Aside from the negative point above, the rest of the experience was good. Quick turn on having someone come out to quote, and the install for carpet and laminate happened about a week after that - if you commit to an install in two weeks the knock a good chunk off the price so it may be worth getting a quote from Empire last unless that's what they all do. They subbed the installs out to two different companies and both did a great job.

We just got our new floors installed this week and we were very pleased with the total experience. Jasmine and Linay came to our home and were very knowledgeable and professional. They walked us through the steps and in no time they were scheduling our installers and made the appointment for the very next day. Our installers were Marcos and Edwardo. They are very hard workers and very pleasant to work with. By the end of the day I had my whole house done and they look great. Thank you Empire and your excellent staff.
