I highly recommend Elite Carpet & Tile. They have tons of samples in the showroom and were very generous letting us take them home to see them in our house. They were patient while we picked out the perfect floor. The floors were installed flawlessly and they were meticulous with the baseboards. Couldn’t have asked for anything better. Now we have very nice looking, durable floors to stand up to the dog, kids and pool.

I was looking to get carpet replaced at my house - I spoke to Alex, he was cordial and professional. I went into the store and met David, who was also nice. After speaking with David, a carpet was decided and everything seemed smooth. They had expected payment first, which I thought was odd given that I paid all other house-job work after the fact, but based on the good reviews about this company I felt safe about it so I went ahead with it and scheduled a date for the installation.

Installation day: the installer was nowhere to be found so I called Alex and found out that the installation was never scheduled. I had taken a day off work to get this done and so the day was wasted. Alex did his best to reschedule as soon as he could, but they were only able to install on a day that I was unavailable so I handed over the key for installation without me there since I couldn't delay it further. The job was a duration of 2 days so the first day I wasn't able to make it, second day I was able to be there for the rest of the job. I expressed to Alex I wanted to be there to look at the job quality and note any inconsistencies that I found on the second day, Alex agreed to the second date. Communication hasn't been great at this point so before the second day installation, I called Alex to confirm and he said it could not be done and the installer was already finishing up. Okay. As I inspected the carpet after the completed job, there were so many spaces along the wall where the carpet was not secured and tacks were not flattened. Practically every step on the stairs I had stepped on the tacks. The carpet was also riddled with strands and extra fibers. Took me 2 hours to clean up since any kind of vacuum isn't able to effectively pick up the ends of the walls without using the handle attachment.

Post Job: Alex never contacted me to see if I was happy with the installation NOR contacted me to schedule a time to return the key to my house. This made me feel VERY uncomfortable and was the last straw on top of the delays and lack of communication of status on the job. I called Alex once more to schedule the installer to come and do the fixes and I was done. This company is reasonably cheap in cost, but it's the exact definition of "you get what you pay for".

No communication (I was always the one calling), no commitments (No concrete schedule), and little trust.

Alex did a great job in the middle of the pandemic by scheduling our appointment and being sensitive to the social distancing precautions. He took our information over the phone and had samples waiting when we arrived. He was friendly, informative and considerate of spacing.

Since our carpet wasn’t in stock, Alex carefully explained the timeframe for ordering our carpet and installation. The information he gave us was spot-on, because everything happened exactly how he had promised.

I highly recommend requesting Jose for your installer.
He took all precautions considering the pandemic. He was gloved, masked and kept his distance. Not only that, he encountered some unexpected “fixes” that needed to be made in our house. Jose could have easily said “No” and walked away from the installation until we fixed them and rescheduled for another day. Instead he quickly jumped in to help us fix and complete the installation! Wow!

Overall, we had an excellent experience with Elite Carpet and Tile. We would highly recommend to anybody!

This place is amazing they were so helpful and understanding. Alex helped us pick out the best tile for our shower. I never imagined my shower would turn out this beautiful! Also George did an awesome job installing the tile. I am beyond pleased with how it turned out.
