Very rude. I’m browsing the store for about five minutes before the owner follows and walks up to see my drivers license while I’m still in the aisle. I understand the need to verify age before making a purchase but, since I had not even made it to the counter to purchase anything, I found it extremely rude. I am twenty-five years old and I thought this was very inappropriate. They even went as far as to ask me a SECOND time for my license when I went to check out. I have shopped here occasionally for years and have had an issue every time, so I will not be going here again. I would not recommend it to anybody.

Great selection and fantastic prices. It's incredible what they can squeeze into this small store. I've never walked out of there without multiple items in my hands.

Large selection of wines and decent beer selection, lots of different mixers and liquors as well. The prices are reasonable. This store has a much bigger selection than the one down the street, and the prices seem to be better too. The man at the counter was friendly and we were greeted with a smile. Side note: Credit card minimum is $10.. Overall, I would definitely return to Durham Wine & Spirits.

Was driving to CT shoreline and needed to pick up a specific bottle (Pearl Cucumber Vodka) for a friend. Called to ask if they carried it. Owner checked and had 1 bottle left, asked him to put it aside for an hour till I was heading by the store.

He did so and was very friendly. Highly recommend.

Place is ripping customers off- had a bottle of EH Taylor bourbon on the shelf- wanted $800.00 - MSRP is about 50, most stores up charge to 100. Can’t trust a business like this. Got the same bottle in Meriden for $82.00. Avoid if you are looking for anything other than the basics.

Sometimes staff can be great, other times not so much. Great selection of everything. Samples are offered on weekends occasionally. If you don't see something you can request an order of it.

Called the store they wouldn't tell me the price of the liquor. Drive all the way there and they are selling it for 200 a bottle and stores are selling for 119.00 in area. Told the owner this why I asked because is equally expensive.
