Funny how it takes a negative public review to get an answer.
I was told by your employee to write you an email to which I never got a reply.

To sum up for the public:
- I've been initially accused to have brought in the garment already ruined
- To sustain this claim, they promised to share an internal video that would have actually showed me dropping the item damaged (this is the most hilarious part), which was obviously never shared with me.
- Lastly, I've been told I NEVER dry cleaned my garment (they know...) and that’s the reason my jacket was damaged.

I can definitely live without my jacket, but I’m happy I shared this extremely negative experience with the public in the hopes that a situation like this can be avoided for someone else.
Your answer and other reviews speak loudly of your poor customer service.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: Went there willing to spend more in order to take care of a unique VERSACE jacket.
Came back as in picture.
I have 0 problems in accident happening while working.
What threw me totally off is how they got back to me:
- according to them I brought in like this (I guess I was trying to get the money for a new jacket from them!!)
- they claimed they would share an internal video showing myself dropping the damaged jacket.

Hilarious...

But I guess it's 2022, no accountability whatsoever for no one.

Over the last 3 years, no kidding have spent about 3-5k on laundry and dry cleaning with door to door. Our washer and dryer were out for months so we use their wash and fold service. After a few runs, you can tell there are some intense clinical uses, clothes shrank a bit and clung together.

That is not why I am writing the review. I’m dissatisfied with the way a service went last week. We had $300 of dry cleaning, picked up and paid. Got an email that one item was left so went back and they could not find after looking up my and my wife’s account saying it was still at the cleaners site, this was 5 weeks post drop off. I asked to get a call and update once ready which never happpened. Eventually thought the product was lost after 3 trips to the Hermosa store front and they finally had it after about 2 months later. Clearly not our fault and we were being very patient through the experience and understanding albeit frustrated. The worker then rang me up for $16 and I asked if I could get that waived given the 2 month delay and countless miscommunication as I had to go back and forth which they denied.

I closed the account and will use another cleaner like debonair locally. It was sad to see such lack of empathy for a client who spends so much.

Other experiences have been fine. But overall it’s expensive, this service experience did not deem the worth of high price, and wash and fold is a hard stat away.

Be extremely careful of this place. They charge the cost to clean based on the designer of the outfit. I paid $71 for a cotton dress (no stains) because it was a nice designer. Not a gala dress a cotton dress. Then a no name 3 other garments was $75. This place is a rip off.

I normally try to avoid leaving negative reviews, as I understand how difficult it is to run a business, but Door to Door Valet really needs to work on their customer service, especially at its price point. I've spent thousands of dollars for their dry cleaning service since moving to Hermosa Beach, as their store is conveniently located across the street from me. Today will be the last day I visit, unless their service improves.

After almost every cleaning recently, I've had to have several shirts re-cleaned because they failed to completely remove the smell of body odor. Today, after a 2nd round of cleaning on a particular shirt, there was still no improvement. It's as if they didn't even bother to clean it.

It seems Door to Door Valet has a very automated cleaning service. In my experience, they don't pay attention to specific requests from their customers. The gentleman working there today didn't take down any notes when I first asked for a specific part of my shirt to be re-cleaned.

If you're going to pay a premium for a dry cleaning service, you'd expect professional results and more attentive customer care. I think Door to Door Valet would benefit from better training for their employees. They are in a great location that services a lot of high-net worth individuals, and they are going to continue losing valuable customers at this rate.

Door to Door Valet Cleaners was an eleven (for you Spinal Tap fans). I have an outdoor furniture set I love and should have been more thoughtful about regarding regular cleaning. I reached out to DtoD and they were quick to respond, both with a recommendation and pricing. Was it inexpensive? No. But when dealing with high-end products and materials, I kind of hoped it wouldn't be. Sajid called me directly to share his opinion about how best to address an overdue cleaning (and btw, wasn't for a moment judgy about it) and gave me a few options. He provided an update midway through the cleaning process to ensure my satisfaction, offering additional thoughts/advice if I desired, then delivered my "like new" cushions in time for an event I had planned, even though I had waited until the last minute to call him. Their response time was great, the entire team was lovely and professional and my outdoor set looks brand new. Personally, I'm willing to pay more for kindness, communication, quality and professionalism.

This was way overpriced for the service I received. Not only was my dress not ready on time, but they were not aware of the delay and so I had to visit the location multiple times. The cleaning was costly and poor quality. The bottom of my gown has significant wrinkles from where the plastic was tied. Definitely will be looking for someone different in the future.

Independent cleaner-review

Our results after two seperate same day dry-cleaning services:
- Items clean, packed presentable
- Returned almost on time (both times due to 'heavy' Saturday evening traffic)
- On both occasions charges quoted verbally by staff at drop-off were much less than invoice presented at pick up.
Difference on both occasions approx. +120%. As they didn't accept pre-payment when dropping off we are wondering: is this intransparent process a result of lack of staff training or poor customer service? One might wonder even...
Will not recommend their service.

My clothing was properly cleaned however their prices are expensive. Lots of additional fees that were not properly discussed or addressed when I dropped off. That would have been a nice heads up.
