Don sold me a “like new” LG washing machine that looked nice, did not have all the features he had promised over the phone and smelled of mold. Once I immediately noticed there was mold on the front gasket, he replaced it right away, but the mold smell would not go away. After months of cleaning it with every product on the market, including running bleach cycles, I could not get this small smell to go away, even though the gasket and drum were pristine and always kept dry, with the door open. I finally got so frustrated that I took apart the entire washer by hand to find that the plastic drum housing assembly was completely eaten by black mold. The tube running from the soap dispenser down to the drum was filled with black mold and rust. This man knew that I am a single mom and just needed a reliable washer when mine went out, and he took advantage of a quick sale.

Edited and updated to respond owner as of Sunday, March 24: I texted Don, the owner directly before posting anything online to give him a chance to respond and make things right. The rust buildup was not in the soap dispenser but in the plastic tube leading from the dispenser and was likely from years of past use before it was sold to me, as my water is all filtered before it enters the house and I have an instant hot water heater, so the water is never sitting. This has nothing to do with all of the black mold found inside the housing assembly shown in the pictures above. Thank you I will text Don again about the refund you offered. He has still not contacted me.

We bought a washer/dryer set from Don for $1200 in May 2024. Not cheap, but not outrageous either for the model. In September of 2024 the washer broke, out of warranty of course. Don sent his drunk repairman to charge me $95 an hour, including travel time to tell me it would cost another $300 plus labor to fix. To top it off, the drunk repairman wanted to charge me for the time he sat on the phone with the owner and sat in his car attempting to write a receipt. I would not recommend this place for anything!

We bought a used Samsung refrigerator from Don recently. It works great, and looks like brand new! ALSO, thank you to George for his friendly delivery, he got it into our house & in place - a HUGE help because my husband walks with 2 canes.

Don has a huge selection of appliances, and knows his stuff. Has something for every budget as well. He repaired our washer at our rental unit last year, and we bought a range from him as well. Just picked up a nice used washer and dryer set as well as a small used wine cooler last week. Delivered, installed, and hauled away the old ones.

Poor communication and poor time management. I had called to make a simple request of draining a washer that had failed to drain was told they would come between 4-5 and i would receive a call from them before they would arrive but i never received it; then i called again asking for updates was told the technician was still out and could maybe come as a final stop no call was received i called to reschedule for the following day they said 10:30 i said thats fine between then and 12:15 and constant calling and no response i decided to go with a different company who sent a technician within the hour my recommendation is go with a more professional company

Don's Appliances has a huge selection of used appliances in great condition from washers and dryers to refrigerators even a few vintage pieces for a possible theme venue.
Although its location can prove to be a challenge with finding the entrance, I'm happy to say Don will probably greet you with a smile and will lead the way.
I wouldn't say the premises is wheelchair friendly but sending a trusted friend you can rest assured Don will take care of your appliance needs. No worries about delivery because your appliance will be delivered and installed. AND, if need be, your old appliance will be taken leaving you with no more worries or stress. Prices are fair and come with a time limited guarantee.
I'll be going to Don's Appliances for all my appliance needs. Thank you, Don, for a great experience! My daughter and I are very happy with our dryer!!!
