I had an amazing experience at Dixie Cottage shop! The owner's creativity shines through the beautifully customized furniture with pastel colors that make them unique and charming. It's impressive how Dani transforms old furniture into stunning pieces. The shop supports local artists too, which is wonderful. The variety of products, from bookshelves to vintage beds, coffee tables, dining tables/ chairs and everything in between, allows you to find the perfect decoration and functional items for any room in your home. I highly recommend visiting this shop for anyone seeking a vintage vibe and artistic touch in their furniture and decor.
You will feel calm the moment you step into the shop. That’s what I felt.

Listen up everyone if you have some time and you're traveling through Interlachen Florida you have to come by and visit Dixie Cottage, it's small but believe me it's not your average and regular little shop... It is full of great surprises!

Dixie Cottage is located at 505a Atlantic Ave. (at the corner of State Road 315 and Highway 20) When you go inside will be greatly surprised if you like finding great shopping with good prices!☺ Dixie Cottage has unusual, little-known, and various novelties, artwork, and crafts? that you normally don't come across in the bigger cities.

Do you like to explore great Hideaway places that are not so obvious from the road and the beaten path? ☺If you do the owners of Dixie Cottage Dani and John Skaja have the perfect place for you. They have a friendly staff that will take care of you with excellent customer service and product knowledge. ☺

I liked the store so much that I stayed longer than I intended. ?Originally I would thought I would just visit and be in and out of the store quickly, however, that was not the case, because I was there for almost 1 hour looking at all the great artwork, the different pieces and selections, custom-made items, and taking pictures. I also met some of the local craftspeople and artists who make some of the crafts their products.

Such friendly, lovely owners. I brought in two end tables and a coffee table that were made of different woods and, voila! within a short time, I had a matching set! Beautiful work with attention to detail. I highly recommend them!

Dixie Cottage was suggested to me when I mentioned my husband and I are updating our furniture decor to a coastal look. I'm so glad we stopped by--and we have been there several times since to purchase items. You can go in one day and find new, different items the following day, which I love. They also custom-make items if you can't find what you're looking for, but be forewarned that they have a backlog of custom orders (which is a testament to their work). And, it's affordable! The one knock I have is that 2 out of the 3 owners are a little icy. When you're there, you kind of feel like an imposition. At first, I chalked it up to a bad day, but having been there at least 4 times now and spent over $200, my husband and I have gotten the same vibes from the same two. You almost feel like you have to apologize for being there. Not sure what's up with that, as customers shouldn't feel that way, especially when you're spending quite a bit of money there. Maybe the other two are just more introverted and don't realize they come across that way. Amanda, on the other hand, is an absolute sweetheart, and we felt totally comfortable around her. Other than that, I really do love Dixie Cottage. They have amazing, good quality stuff, and I enjoy patronizing local businesses like this. We look forward to coming back soon!

Love this place! It’s so refreshing to find a shop that has beautiful pieces of furniture priced right. Too many places are overpriced, but not Dixie Cottage. Thankful for this little gem that has helped to make our house feel more like a home. The staff is also super helpful. I took in some photos of my current furniture & they offered great tips. Great little place for interesting upcycled furnishings. Good prices. Make sure what you buy is well made or your coffee table leg will fall off when you get home 1.5 hours away. (They loaded it into our vehicle otherwise we would have figured it out.) We fixed it easily. I would definitely go back but exercise more caution.
