Dissent is the king of quality. I found out about them when I was trolling the off-road forums for a new rear bumper for my GX470 build. Filip had posted about getting enough support to make 10 orders of a rear bumper. I think I was number 8 or 9. I put down my deposit and waited. He sent emails over the coming months about the progress they'd made on 3D scanning and the details going into the bumper. I have to be honest, I was a little sticker shocked when the final price of the bumper plus swing outs was tallied. Filip had been very open and honest in the prices, it was my eagerness to get a bumper which decided to add every possible thing on without noticing the price increase.
I live on the East Coast and had to pay a pretty penny to ship it. When it finally arrived, I was so excited to put it on. To my surprise, there was no instal instructions. A quick email and Filip said that he was still in the process of making the install guide but sent me the pdf he had made so far. It was fun for me to use the GXOR facebook group as a springboard and meet some new friends digitally who were having the same issues I was.
After it was all said and done this baby is amazing that craftsmanship, the welding is immaculate (I get compliments all the time on how clean it looks) the sturdiness of the bumper itself (I can climb, jump, strap etc and it is so solid). The tire carrier (WHICH IS PISTON ASSISTED AND I HAVE HAD MULTIPLE OTHER GXOR OWNERS DROOL TO ME ABOUT IT) works flawlessly and has such a sturdy feel to it. The pop out table on the back is ideal for all camping situations (Making coffee on the side of the road is my favorite).
The last week I have decided to move back to Colorado and realized I needed the rear hitch drop down to tow a trailer.
Filip and his team cut it, powder coated it and are rush shipping it to me so that I can be home in time for Christmas.
