I have been a frequent customer of this little GEM in the center of Ellington Connecticut. They offer some of the best frozen gluten-free plastic products I have ever found in my searches. I believe they may soon be carrying gluten-free Italian pastas available in the bag. Their homemade sauces are amazing as well as their cookies!
If you place an order in advance they will make gluten free ricotta Italian cookies that are to die for ?. They have also made GF Mac and cheese that is delicious! We have served their food at a couple pop up events and everyone LOVES the food!
The owners, Colleen and Don are absolutely wonderful people. Highly recommend DiFiore' Ravioli Shop ?

I always drive by here, but have never stopped in before today. I am glad I finally did-- a gem of a local market in Ellington, DiFiore has a great selection of fresh made pastas, baked goods, oils, and hot food at reasonable prices. There are spaces to order at the counter and dine in at the cozy sitting room, or get takeout. I got takeout penne alla vodka (came w/ a complimentary focaccia) and two cannoli, both were delicious.

Decided to have lunch at the DiFiore Ravioli Shop in Ellington with a friend a couple weeks ago. It was a lovely September afternoon, so we took advantage of it and sat outside after ordering. The young man who delivered our food was incredibly polite and cheerfully friendly. I ordered the butternut squash with browned sage butter (ricotta/parmesan/fall spices/white wine/sage), and my friend got the orecchiette siciliano (crumbled sausage/roast peppers/caramelized onions/EVOO/garlic). Oh, my goodness, our dishes were awesome. And huge and filling (we each brought a container home). But we had a little room for half a slice of cheesecake. It’s easily the best slice I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely be back to eat, but they’ve also got a great shop inside with premium products.

I was saddened when they moved from Rocky Hill, Connecticut to Ellington but I did recently go to their Ellington store. It's beautiful and the raviolis are the best as always.

Excellent fresh pasta and so much more! Very friendly staff and lots of wonderful items to try. They sell this incredible limoncello gelato.

My-oh-my pasta-pie, its finally open in Ellington! 😉 Italian....all here & under one roof. Fresh Pasta, Sauce, Meatballs. Lunch and Dinner takeout or dine-in. Nice variety of imported Italian specialty items. Very fresh Caesar and Garden salads. The meatballs are great, a family fave! (longtime fan from back on Franklin Ave in Hartford). A drive down the street to DiFiore is part of our weekly grocery shopping trip. Everything is excellent from the homemade sauces, pasta, ravioli and more! The fresh cheese arancini found in the deli area are to die for!! Everyone that works there is super nice and helpful as well. We’re lucky to have this store in our little town ❤️
