Outstanding craftsmanship! Irene and her team took antique furniture and made bold recommendations as to how to update yet retain uniqueness. I read the prior impressive reviews and called Design Focus to ask a few questions and get advice as to recovering 4 bar stools. After speaking with Irene, she asked me to send over photos of my project. I did and got what I felt was a very snippy response (included below). I've never had furniture reupholstered before so wasn't sure what kind of information was needed. I guess after reading the reviews, I was expecting better. I emailed her back (also included) with more pictures and information (all Irene had to do was ask) and received an apology and a dismissal (included). Wow, so rather than apologize and make it right, I've been dismissed. It's one thing to have an "off" day-we've all been there. But to not make it right, that's another thing. If there's zero follow-through with customer service, then where's the follow-through with product?

Response to original inquiry:
"Where is the original pattern.?
We charge for DESIGN time. If you took off the backs, we copy that pattern.
They are tapered. Looks like they need a side band. So it's harder to put on when top is wider than base.?
We dont have time to help you till mid December? It could be that the back was upholstererd seperate to "close". Not slip covered.
75.00 per hour plus DESIGN time.
Always save everything you take off.
