We went there today in hopes to find some lighting solutions.

No one ever greeted me after I said, “hello”. Instead, an older woman leaned from her chair to look our direction, and never would greet us. Three younger women sat with her and they also never greeted us. One woman even got up and walked behind me, yet she would never offer me a chance to make our purchases.

I will NEVER walk into that store again. The associate with a beard was totally rude and obnoxious. Besides, their prices are way out of line.

I have been a long time customer of design elements. I have always been treated professionally and love their decor. The staff are friendly and always willing to help me pick the right items for my space. They listen to my needs and take my budget into consideration when making recommendations. Best part is the white glove delivery and set-up. Very professional and they take every opportunity to make you feel welcome and appreciated for bringing your business to their store. Will definitely continue to shop at Design Elements.

My wife and I were having lunch at Bonefish, after picking up some repairs in Jacksonville, yesterday. We parked in front of this storefront and were drawn in by the fall decor, and winter decor being unboxed. We only had a few moments before closing, but we'll definitely return every trip to Jacksonville. As we were leaving I told my wife, in front of a store associate, this is what the "Mart", in Alanta, looks like every year the first weekend in November, usually. The Mart is quality decor, furnishings, furniture only open to business decorators from all over the southeast. I have had the opportunity to attend with some decorator friends. The store associate told us they have gone on a number of occasions, and I could tell by the quality of their displays.

We were dressed in our casual clothes for the 2.5 hour drive, from Georgia, to Jacksonville. We were treated like welcomed shoppers by the staff. This is a must stop location for everyone who takes pride in their home, no matter what the socioeconomic bracket they feel placed in by others. We wish we had an unlimited budget in retirement, but this is not the case. What we have learned, over many years, if you take care of your seasonal decor out of the season, in the long run you will pay much less than you buy at "big box stores" every season.

This store has something, or some decorating display ideas, that will make your home look great. If for no other reason, the staff decorators are extremely talented and you will take away many ideas for your home.

When I walked in wearing casual attire, I was told their furniture is too formal without telling them what I was looking for. I told her that my bathroom Is Carrara marble and though I’m not dressed that way my home is formal. I was told to look around. When I approached her again to let her know what I wanted to purchase she said she spoke to the designer and repeated what they have is too formal. I felt liked I was being judged by my appearance. I went to another store and bought an $8k piece to fits perfectly my home.

I've been here several times over the years for their awesome Christmas selection. Each tree is a designer showcase. The owner really knows what he's buying for his store. Always find something I want every season. Also like talking shop with the owner. He's a trip. This store is high end and high quality. Expect this before you come in. It's not Walmart. He's chosen some of the best ornaments and decor that manufacturers have put out for the season. Nice mix of styles sizes and colors. Don't be afraid to put the 18" ornament in your tree... Yes it will fit... No it's not too big. They also offer designer services for high-end client's. Well worth it if u are in the market for it. Looking forward to my drive up in October to see what he's picked this year.

My wife and I purchased two beautiful chandeliers from Design Element. The salesman was a very helpful and courteous guy named Josh who did everything to make us feel as if we were very special customers. Since one of the chandeliers was cracked, a new chandelier was ordered which took 4-week to be shipped from California. Though we were not happy about the delay, when the installers finally arrive they were so professional and helpful that we forgot about the long wait. Our chandeliers are absolutely gorgeous!!! All I can say is that Design Element is a great place to find unique, quality and beautiful furnishings.
