Really disheartened to be writing this. Decker and Beebe used to be wonderful: they delivered small town service and stood behind what they sold. People didn't mind paying higher prices for these reasons.
Unfortunately this has changed. If you buy a "lemon" from them or have any issue, expect a service appointment 2-3 months out. They will tell you to contact the manufacturer, it has nothing to do with them. The new service manager has no business working with the public in any capacity, she is rude and condescending. Sorry to say i absolutely do not recommend doing business with Decker & Beebe. Buy from a company that will stand behind what they sell.

Horrible Experience and do not even waste your time unless you enjoy being taken advantage of and ripped off.
I recently had a water heater install completed and to start with, It was NOT the correct model I ordered and a cheaper model was installed and I was over charged almost $300 on the water heater alone.
I was quoted 3 hours labor and the job only took 1 hour and 15 minutes in total from arrival to departure.
I had also shut off and drained pipes myself and since when after a job is completed do they use your 11 year old parts on a new system and now it is the Customer's job to be required to purge the air from the system and told you should have hot water in a half hour or so
Please do not think A local company is the way to go because apparently a mans word is no longer valued and when you see the employees eating lunch or your time after they left, it leaves a very sour taste in one's mouth.
Needless to say; First and last experience with this company and a costly Lesson Learned in the process.

I struggled for months to find a cost effective easy way to replace my built-in oven. None of the places I visited had a satisfactory solution.

Then I went to Decker & Beebe. Brooke did thorough research and gave me three choices. Then they sent the installers to see which model would fit. We made a choice and got a good price. A week later it was all done. The installers are true professionals. They did a great job.

Decker & Beebe will be my "go to" place for appliances in the future.

The two delivery people who delivered and installed three appliances were terrific. They managed an involved installation with great competence and, afterward, were as patient and helpful as could be in giving advice on how best to use the range, dishwasher and range hood we'd purchased. We're very happy Decker & Beebe customers.

Well I need an old broken wall oven disconnected and an old broken stovetop disconnected so I can take them to the transfer station to recycle them in the metal bin. But long story short this place would only do that if I bought an appliance from them. I have yet to even purchase an appliance but already feel pressured by their policy. I have been trying all summer to get an electrician to come help from Canaan to help with no luck. So I am on a waiting list of 3-5 weeks for someone out of town.

We have bought several appliances from Decker & Beebe, but most recently have needed them for service of a couple of appliances -- one we bought from them, one an elderly dishwasher bought long before. In every case, whether selling or servicing, whether their own products or someone else's, we have been impressed by the work done, the professional yet friendly attitude of the entire staff, and the wonderful advice from the repair team. Highly recommend!!!

Can't say enough about the prompt, excellent service we received on a frigid Saturday afternoon. The plumbers came quickly and fixed our broken pipe located in the crawlspace under our house extension. They sawed off the broken pipe and brazed in a new one , working very efficiently. They also made some recommendations to avoid this problem in the future. We highly recommend this company. We have been their customers for years.
