We’ve used Daylight Window treatments for over 10 years. The initial order occurred after a big box store came measured , guaranteed and couldn’t install because their measurements were wrong. Gil has been fantastic in explaining the process and we’ve had 3 different set pts of shades. I wouldn’t use anyone else!

Working with Gil was an excellent experience. I have a very large, east-facing casement window and needed a solution that cut the morning light and allowed full light in the afternoon evening, as well as being aesthetically pleasing. Gil walked me through the options, including transparent information about pricing, and was able to guide me to a solution superior to what I had initially wanted. His guidance here was invaluable, as was his advice on colors/materials.

The install was super easy and professional. I was not home at the time, but when I returned, everything was professionally installed and my apartment was spotless.

After a few months, I discovered a manufacturing defect in one of the shades. Within a week, Gil had worked with the manufacturer to procure a replacement, and came by himself to install it. All free of charge. Gil's commitment to quality is truly outstanding.

I would recommend Gil and Daylight Window Treatments to anyone looking for window treatments.

Absolutely outstanding work by Gill and his team! I asked them to install blinds for 9 windows and curtains for 4 windows. A previous "curtain expert" (who shall remain nameless) had completely messed up and left us, after a year of work, with almost unusable and badly made curtains. Gill came, took the measurements and made some great proposals in regard to materials and colors. Ten minutes later we had taken the respective decisions; five minutes after that Gill had calculated the price and we gave him our OK and a check. Right then the work started for good. A few weeks later, exactly according to his timeline, the blinds were ready and he came to install them. They were true high-quality work, the dimensions were perfect, everything was first-rate. A few weeks later also the curtains were ready: same thing here. The installation was done in one day; Gill and his team cleaned up after them, leaving our home absolutely transformed. We requested blackout shades and thanks to the perfect measurements and installation, the black-out effect has been achieved to perfection. I cannot recommend Day Light Window Treatments highly enough. Just save yourself the detour with a mediocre curtain installer and go right to Gill. He'll take care of everything and the end results are absolutely spectacular. Thanks again for your wonderful work!

Gil just completed installation of solar shades in our living room, and black out shades in our bedrooms — in our apartment in Carroll Gardens — and they are beautiful! They look exactly the way I hoped after looking at design photos. We needed shades for privacy but also wanted to provide protection against the heat of our sunny windows. And yet I wanted a sheer look so we could see out. Gil provided excellent personalized service, coming right over on time, suggesting shades that matched the functionality and the contemporary, clean look I was going for, and then was fast and easy to schedule for installation. Very pleased with the results, and the ordering and installation process went smoothly. Gill helped me select Roman shades and roller shades for our new condo, and was professional, responsive to emails and calls, and overall a pleasure to deal with. We had a minor manufacturing defect occur a few days after installation on one shade, and Gill contacted the manufacturer and arranged delivery of a replacement part within a day or so.
