I called in originally and spoke with Kyle, he was super helpful over the phone and answered all my questions. I decided to stop in to the store to see what their selection of mowers were. When I walked in I was greeted by Bill and Kyle. I explained to Bill what I was looking for and my situation and he took the time to not only listen but also address each of my concerns. Not once did I feel pressured to buy or even make a decision right then and there. He was very upfront about everything and was super informative. I actually left and came back the next day and bought a Hustler Surfer Pro 48” and absolutely love it! Best decision I could have made and beyond happy I found a great company to work with! From front end to their parts department every person has been kind and extremely helpful ! Thank you for the great customer service!

Best shop to buy a mower! I called to inquire about a Scag zero turn and Bill was quick to answer all my questions and recommend a mower. Wound up purchasing a better Scag model than I originally inquired about because Bill gave me a fantastic deal I couldn’t refuse. They even let me borrow their trailer so I could take it home! It was a pleasure dealing with these guys and I highly recommend doing business with them.

*BEWARE*BEWARE**Part 1
I am so upset I didn't read these reviews prior to buying and servicing my equipment at Cutter Power. Below is a email to Bill which he has yet to respond to as of 1/3/23.

Hello Bill,

So, I have not heard back from you since you said you would call me back after hanging up on me on Tuesday 11/29/22 while I was trying to answer questions from you as to what was wrong with the mower and the history. I’m not sure what you have found out or what possibly may have happened but based on all the channels and available information to me, it is clear that I was charged for a left hydro pump on the 2014 52” Stander (model-WSTN52FX691E)(serial-72544) and it was never replaced. If you have found otherwise, I would appreciate you explaining it to me. The original mower was sold with a left hydro serial# of 4024P10064 and as of 11/21/22 from another authorized Stander dealer the same pump is on the mower. I was billed and I paid $1039.08 for work that was not done.

You mentioned you needed to put your eyes on the unit. I sent some pics but if that wasn’t enough, it is sitting in my garage for you to come by and look at anytime or send anybody you would like to verify any concerns or questions you may have but I think I have paid enough back and forth delivery fees thus far along with my own guys delivering and picking it up along with overtime $ for the same problems. The PTO switch still hasn’t been fixed and will have to go into a shop again. The mower is so unreliable it’s almost un-useable.

After spending 50k to 60k at your shop, I realize I am not your biggest customer but I am “a” customer. I would hope that you will find a way to rectify this as soon as possible.

If you don’t want to call me, I don’t understand why, but that’s fine, just please respond via email. Please look at the history on the serial number for that mower to see how many times it had been in for the same thing with all the manufactures recommended service items being done through your shop.

And, below is a partial copy of the complaint sent to the BBB. You will notice Cutter Power is not a member and has not responded to a prior complaint as well. Date of Transaction: 5/13/21 @ 8:46:38am.Amount Paid the Business: $1039.08 What the business committed to provide me: A newly installed left hydro pump for a 2014 52” Wright Stander. What the nature of the dispute is: Bill Antala, the owner has not returned emails, texts or calls except one and he hung up on me after being made aware of this issue. He has offered no options for resolve. He seemed to be more interested in which dealer had back stabbed him than the fact his company had clearly charged me for a part that was never, bought, picked up or replaced. This was verified by the local distributor for his store, Pace Industries in Lakeland. They have no record of a purchase by cutter power for the part that they charged me for. Acct/Order/Tracking number: Inv # 241418 NOTE***go to BBB website to see full complaint-this page has a character limit. I will update as info does or does not change.

UPDATE TO OWNER RESPONSE:

Bill,

You obviously did not read the review in its entirety. Look at all the other reviews of you ghosting people. The Hydro along with another PTO switch was replaced by a reputable company to make it useable as you refused to answer emails and direct phone calls regarding this matter. You had pictures of the same info you would provide a customer if they came in saying their hydro had just been replaced. You have the fact that Pace acknowledged you ordered no Hydro. All direct contacts agreed you committed fraud but wouldn’t go on the record because “times have changed” and now they answer to the Vendor-you, instead of the other way around like it used to be. You know what happened was wrong. If you want to take a look at it, Facetime me or I’ll meet with you in my garage at your convenience any day anytime.

They were able to fix my starter for my wright right away. The dealer where I purchased my mower was backed up but these guys were able to take a look at to get me back up and running ASAP

I HIGHLY recommend you don't deal with this company... at least not "Bill" the A-Hole sales man. When asking him questions he talks over you constantly, pushes higher price items, talks down to you if you don't take his advice, and when he asked if I "Was ready to buy" and I told him I was just getting numbers the clown texted me back saying "I can see you are not looking for the best tractor you are just concerned with the price... I will tap out". Can you imagine the service after you give this idiot your money if this is his attitude before you do. LOTS of great people out there to buy from... no need to buy from Bill or this company.
Update: I never mentioned Tractor Supply. I mentioned Rural King as one I was looking at. Nothing more than that. Now A-Hole is a liar too.
Update #2 Not only do these guys have no sense of customer service or proper treatment of a human, one of the clowns here started texted and harassing me after I posted this review. He then accused me of having my wife write the review, of being a Biden supporter, and made excuses for Bill's stupid statements. His name is Kyle, he also told me that he is "...a little popular". Weird inflated ego. He also said they don't have time for "a back and forth" with me asking questions because they are "Selling tons of lawn mowers a day". Maybe people need to help them out and buy elsewhere like I will be doing.

Horrible place to do business with. Bought this mower from cutter power and last year we had the mower in there 2 or maybe 3 times under warranty to get fixed. They said they fixed it but it would start doing the same thing. Spitting and spuddering when you mow. So what ever they said they fixed they fixed something that didn't need to be fixed. They would never give me a invoice of what they fixed or give me a invoice when I dropped it off so I could have proof that I dropped it off. I took it in twice this year for the same problem. They will not tell me what they did fix the 4 different times I had it in there for the same exact problem. I told them this time that it was getting old bringing it in for the same problem and not being fixed so they had it for awhile this time because they said they ordered some kinda computer that would tell them what is wrong with the engine because they didn't know themselves. So all that time I waited and I called to see what was taking so long and they told me I might have to pay 4 to 500.00 for them to tear the engine down if Kawasaki did not honer the warranty. I said look they better honor it. Your people kept fixing things that didn't need to be fixed. I asked them fir all the work orders when I brought it in and they tried to say I hadn't had that mower in there since 2022. I was livid because I started realizing these people are scamming me. Then the owner was saying the machine told them that the engine was low on oil over 200 times. I told him that was not true because every day before the mower gets started the oil is checked and if needed oul we added. He said to me and this really upset me because he was basically calling me a liar. The owner said if we believed every lawn business that said they always checked there oil and didn't run it low we'd be put of business. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I asked again for the work orders from last year and this year and he said I found one from Oct 2023. When before he said I was not in there since 2022 with this mower. I told him I have several witnesses that was there when it got brought on all those times and he said he didn't care. He told me to take it somewhere else to get fixed. My husband bought it there. They had been fixing been fixing things that did not need to be fixed and let what ever was wrong go without being fixed. I called them out on all this negligence and I all of a sudden I was a unruly customer. I wanted them to tell me what they supposed to fix. They are a very shady company and and a huge waste of time. Very dishonest and the owner has no trust in the customer to say what he said. I don't recommend buying or having anything serviced here. They raise their voice at you when your asked for invoices of work orders because they wont give them to you I guess because it was under warranty and no money was exchanged. But when your defend yourself from there rude attitude and accussing then your a unruly customer. I still want all those work orders he said he didn't have. He found one and there are 3 more. He said there was none only in 2022. He found one in 2023 and that proves I was there when he was basically calling me a liar. BEWARE DON'T DO BUSINESS HERE.

Well i lost the nut needed for my weedwhacker and i went to grass pro shops and they said they wouldnt have the part today so they said to go to Cutter and i did. I ordered the nut and was told 2 to 3 day shipping. Went in today because 2 weeks has passed by and i was ready to get in a argument over this situation and i was surprised how they handled it. The worker in the front said if i dont have the nut ill just go take it out of the new ones bag and replace it later and that is what he did. So basically if they had the nut in the time period they said it was going to be there i wouldve gave them 5 stars. Nice people might need to stay on them to get parts and always do your reasearch before going in.
