If you need lights, they have them. A huge inventory to choose from. Indoor, outdoor, table lamps, decor, and the ability to bring them home to see how they work in your space. Can’t wait to order our new lighting!!

Ordered a chandelier that needed extra chain and cord added to it. Was told it would take 2 weeks at most.
After 4 weeks and having to call multiple times I picked up the finished product and the chain was the wrong color...

Brought it back and after speaking with the salesmen had to choose a different color chain that they had in stock as I did not want to wait weeks for them to get the chain I wanted. Two days later picked up the chandelier with a new chain....

Plugged in the chandelier and one of the bulbs does not light. Took it apart and discovered one of the hot wires was pulled out of the wire nut... I guess its SOP not to test fixtures after they modify them.

So in the end I'll leave you with this. If you want to go look at some light fixtures to get ideas connecticut lighting is a good place to look.

If want something that is in stock at the time of your visit and you can easily purchase and leave the same day, maybe.

If you have to order something or if you need something modified. Don't bother. Better off just ordering it online and doing the work yourself or going elsewhere.

P.S. if you order stuff for a customer and it's not available. Don't just keep their money and wait till it becomes available or till the customer calls you. CALL THE DAMN CUSTOMER FIRST. Be proactive and provide a quality experience

Hardware is solid and even when you touch it you can feel the solid in!
The lighting pieces they have a great selection which made it tough for us to choose as there were so many that we liked.

Buying or renovating a home is stressful enough and I cannot say enough about how helpful the staff here was in helping us pick out our lights and fans. They have an incredible display almost overwhelming, but in a good way. However, we were able to make easy, stress-free decisions and couldn't be happier. The quality of their display is absolutely fantastic as well. Highly recommend!

What a fantastic place! We shopped around and Connecticut Lighting has the best display of all different priced lighting options. We worked with Jonny Lepore and he was just AMAZING! He helped us look at what options were available and answered all our questions patiently (and we had TONS of questions!). He was so accessible and that was important because we were finding lights for a brand new build. This could have been very overwhelming because we needed so many lights, but he handled everything efficiently. He kept us updated on costs and availability along the way. 5 STARS and more!

I had a wonderful experience with Ct Lighting in Southington CT. I had a pair of lamps purchased back in the 1980's that the wiring itself was always loose when they were purchased. I recollect that ALL the inventory of this lamp style had loose wiring but I loved these wooden lamps and bought them anyway. They needed to be rewired and it is not easy because these use a four way switch. These have a night light in the base. Another lamp shop recommended them to me since a larger business would have more tools than a smaller shop. They cleaned them beautifully. They look brand new. Their inventory and selection is HUGE. Would highly recommend them.
