My wife and I have an antique 4 poster bed which requires a custom mattress. We were delighted to discover a local company... Comfort Sleep Systems and purchased a mattress from them and slept happily on it for over 20 years when it became clear that it was time to replace the mattress. Naturally, the first place we visited was Comfort. We were greeted by Sara and experienced a no-pressure, no hurry sales experience. They also still had records of our previous purchase from over 20 years ago. The new mattress is wonderful and we are sleeping soundly and comfortably again. They also have a great selection of mattress covers and pillows (which we also purchased). I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a GREAT buying and sleeping experience!!

Love my new Tranquility mattress & Luna Eclipse bed from Comfort Sleep Systems. Sara patiently assisted in finding the best fit for me, and I was delighted to discover they made the mattress to order on site. Their quality is unbeatable & it was a bonus to support a local business in my own town. I've had mine for about 2 months and have no idea how I ever slept on my worn, low quality mattress for so long. Do yourself a favor and get your next mattress here! Your body will thank you.

Bought a full sized mattress here for just under $1000. I found the person working there refreshingly honest/blunt. Mattress is comfortable, didn’t have any weird odors, and is holding up well! Will definitely be back when I need another mattress, highly recommend.

First off I really enjoyed working with a company who is locally owned and run. And they make their products here in CT. They're also made to order.
The sales rep I worked with was very laid back and not at all pushy. She explained everything in easy to understand language and answered all our questions. The mattress and bed frame we picked out wasn't cheap, but it came in about $1000 less than what I considered a similar feeling mattress elsewhere, that was not made in CT. The CSS mattress also comes with a better warranty. We've been sleeping on it about 3 months now and it's just as comfortable as the day they delivered and set it up. This is one of the most comfortable mattresses I've ever slept on.
They used an outside delivery firm for delivery and setup. They were easy to schedule, on time, professional and very competent. Obviously very used to CSS setup.
I cannot imagine buying something as important as a bed without laying down on one first. We eliminated the "bed in a box" option immediately and tried everything from a $13,000 sleep number, to hybrids, to various foams. Even with price aside, the CSS was the best we tried.

Came here to replace my 50 year old mattress. When I talked to the owner, he indicated that his company might of made it. He was extremely helpful in picking out a new mattress and pillows. I used the pillows last night as I wait for my new mattress and they made a huge difference on my sleeping last night.

I needed boards to hold the mattress on the frame and he cut three of them at no charge.

I scheduled the mattress to be delivered at 2pm. They were there at 2. They were efficient in their delivery and took away all the plastic covering. The mattress made a huge difference in my sleeping comfort.

I would highly recommend this company.

Everything went smoothly. Very nice owners. You know the saying, you get what you pay for. We bought a mattress at another place and it was horrible. The mattress’s at Comfort Sleep Systems are made right on the premises. We should have came here from the beginning! We love our mattress!

I finally found an old school, flip-able, firm, inner spring mattress! No more back pain! The service was professional, prompt delivery of the custom made product (they bring the mattress/box spring into the house and set up) and reasonable price. I highly recommend!
