I am sharing with the public my disappointment regarding three 12’ poles I purchased only a year ago. Despite following proper maintenance and seasonal storage, the poles have developed permanent bends within one year of use, causing them to no longer stand straight. I have provided pictures clearly demonstrating the extent of the damage, yet your customer service team has informed me that this is not covered under warranty. This is clearly a defect in the product’s integrity and quality.

Customer service does not stand behind its warranty policy. They claim the “poles will bend.” For a product that should last far longer, this has been a frustrating and costly experience. I expected better from ColourTree, and believe they should reconsider their stance on the warranty coverage for defective poles.

Do not buy. You will be as disappointed as I was within the first year of use. Take a look at the photos and make an assessment for yourself!

I purchased a custom sized shade sail from ColourTree USA. The quality of the materials used for the shade sail and the construction were of the highest quality. Impressive. I also had to interact with their customer service team and they were quick to respond, helpful, and professional. All in all, my experience with ColourTree USA has been extremely positive. We are so pleased with our ColourTree purchases that we have highly recommended them to others and purchased additional shades for our home. Customer service is impeccable. The first set of shades I ordered the commercial grade with a five year warranty. Four years in they were starting to fray and the hardware was corroding . I sent the pictures and received an entirely new set of commercial grade shades, no questions asked. we live in a quite harsh environment for anything outdoors, and these have by far out performed previous umbrellas, canopies, etc.

I purchased the Colourtree Sand Beige Sun Shade two years ago, and I loved it for its stylish design and effective sun protection. Unfortunately, it tore in a wind storm, but I was impressed by the company’s customer service.

When I reached out about the damage, their team was incredibly responsive and helpful. They quickly guided me through the warranty process and are replacing the shade without any hassle.

Colour Tree was helpful in finding my previous order with the sails dimensions and I was able to easily replacement them. I appreciated how quickly the new ones arrived.

ColourTree USA has been by go to place for privacy screens. My company uses them to restrict access to the wires on ground mounted solar panels when necessary to pass inspection. ColourTree USA has taken every customer order and processed, manufactured, and shipped in a timely manner. The quality is always great and the measurements are precise. I found other companies who make similar products closer to me on the east coast and on amazon, but ColourTree seems to have the best prices and easiest customization ability. The only thing I initial found difficult was how to submit and pay for custom orders. Clearer instructions would be helpful.

These are the best sails. My first set lasted 3 years and unfortunately winds more than 60mph took them out. I am now two years into my second sail which was custom sized. It is still in great shape!

I bought a small 3'x4' privacy screen beige, from ColourTree USA. And it is an easy installation with zipties. We noticed a little flaw on the black border but put it up anyway. And not even 2 days later, the flaw got much bigger, not from anything, except that it was stretched taut. Not even 2 days later. Look at the pics. Yet, when we contacted this seller, they claim it appears to be heat damage. They are lying. How do they know. We are the ones who know. We put it up. We have no animals, no children, it's on our balcony next to nothing, literally nothing, but a chair. We got it and w/in 2 days it had this flaw. We showed it to a guy who knows fabrics and materials, and he said it is supposed to be stretched taut, but there was a flaw, and the stretch caused the damage, because of the defect. We're talking only 2 days later. And it wasn't even very hot outside. Nothing. We are honest people, this company is lying to us, telling us they will not send a replacement or refund or even warranty it. I'm talking we got it and 2 days later it showed this damage, and we have done nothing. We are both professionals, we know what we are talking about. This is a defect, that got worse from the stretching because the screen has to be taut. And their phone # on Amazon is disconnected. And they wrote the nastiest emails to us, really lousy customer service, almost mean. And this was a cheap screen, so why are they acting like this. Very very very sketchy. Would never order from them because if you have any problem like we did, they will NOT stand by their product. It is absolutely not heat caused, it is stretch caused of a flaw that was there. Terrible people, customer service awful, very sad we bought from these people. We are upset, my husband is very upset. We did nothing, they are lying. We buy all the time from Amazon, but this really changed our view of purchasing online. Terrible seller, and terrible customer service. Sure, if everything goes right, you're happy. But if any issue, they are horrible to deal with. Will not help us at all, and we have had this for less than 2 days. Shocking to us. Very sad to us. (I went on the Better Business Bureau website, and it shows an F rating, not BBB accredited.)
