These guys are the absolute best. It is like walking back in time - in the best of ways - to enter their hardware store. Ruben always greets you with a smile and no one is in a rush. More importantly, no one is trying to sell you anything you don't need.

They have often corrected me and prevented me from buying a more expensive item because it wasn't what I needed. That's what I mean about going back in time: they are genuinely here to HELP YOU. It is obvious that it is not their only goal to make money.

If Jim is around, be sure to chop it up with him as he is sure to make you laugh out loud.

I used this hardware store from 2016-2023 and then moved about 20 minutes away. When I needed a hardware store today and I wasn't sure what items I needed to purchase, I made the drive back to them because I knew they would give it to me straight. Then I realized that I had never shared the love about how great these guys are.
There is also a secret parking lot in the back just for them. Like I was saying, old school all the way in the best possible ways.

Very poor management, lacking knowledge and resources. Will do everything in their power to be as unhelpful and unprofessional as possible. I would prefer to drop an anvil on my toe, then deal with them again.

I've been a loyal customer of Callahan Hardware for years, and they never disappoint. This time, I needed paint and painting tools for a room renovation. The quality of the paint was excellent, and the selection of colors was extensive. The staff helped me choose the right brushes and rollers, ensuring a smooth painting process. While the prices are reasonable, the quality justifies every penny spent.

These guys were always so impatient and rude and I dreaded anytime I needed to call there. One day, one of the associates was being especially rude after I was told one of our employees who is an elderly lady had recieved terrible customer service while at the store so I closed our account, and I haven't thought of them until this day so I thought I'd celebrate not having looked back. The Big Orange store has been great!

Callahan had everything I was looking for to complete the home repair tasks I've been working on! They beat the prices of bigger retail stores and the employees were very helpful and friendly. I'm coming back for every job I have after this, and referring friends and family to them. Keep it up!

Well stocked neighborhood hardware store. It can be overwhelming for a lady to walk in but I was assisted by the friendly staff and was able to buy everything I needed from picture hangers, sink basket, to drapery hooks. Jim was patient enough to answer all of my questions about my home projects and made recommendations. They offer quality brands (i.e. Stanley) that are reasonably priced while some are even cheaper compared to Amazon especially if you don't need supplies in bulk. I am very happy and satisfied with my visit and definitely recommend Callahan - excellent customer service!
