I wanted to share my experiences at Buffalo Exchange, particularly regarding a manager who has consistently made my visits uncomfortable. As a PLUS sized Black woman(don’t know her name unfortunately), she holds a significant position, but unfortunately, her attitude leaves much to be desired.Every time I enter the store, I am met with rudeness and a dismissive demeanor. Instead of feeling welcomed, I often feel judged and unwelcome. Her interactions with customers lack the basic respect and kindness that one would expect from someone in a managerial role. It’s disheartening to encounter such negativity in a place that should promote a positive shopping experienceI believe that leadership should embody support and encouragement, but this manager's behavior has done the opposite. I hope that Buffalo Exchange can address this issue, as it significantly impacts customer experiences and the overall reputation of the store.

Advice from an MBA- Limit the amount of clothes sellers can bring in at one time. This would encourage sellers to only select the best items versus every dirty piece of clothing and jewelry in their closet. If a buyer has to go through three IKEA sized bags of clothes, it creates an unreasonably long wait time for other motivated sellers. I watched a buyer spend over 15 minutes sorting hundreds of used items from SHEIN to end up only offering $28 of store credit for the seller. How much do you pay your employees? Is that a good return on investment? I had time to go grab coffee, drive to Lululemon to return something, try on and buy a new shirt at Vince, and then drive back. Then when I returned I clicked “I’m at the counter,” but your system bumped me out of line. When I showed the seller what happened and that I checked in a hour ago, he put me at the back of the line. He then had the audacity to ask another person waiting if I could go ahead of her even when I had the time stamp to prove my place in line. I hope your business enjoys the free Theory sweater I donated. I will never sell or buy anything here again.

They are so respectful and kind when selling and you can tell have a great passion and love for fashion because they seem happy to be there. Didn’t sell as much as I wanted but left very happy and traded for a couple great new pieces

I've been going here for damn near a decade and they always have such great clothes! The staff is very friendly. They were very accommodating to my baby when I needed to change him. Love this place!

Good cloth for coin trade here. I will say I’m a little disappointed by the selection but that’s just because they didn’t have anything in my taste when I went. They have men’s and women’s options with plenty of gender neutral options. Good brands and quality control but pretty expensive for what it is.

Buffalo always has the best clothes. Everything is unique and fairly priced. Employees are nice and will hold you clothes while you shop around so your arms don’t get too full. Very nice store 👍

3 pairs of louboutins… 2 pairs in mint condition and 1 raggedy pair… these kids wouldn’t know prime retail value if it hit them on their heads… they were going to give me 24 DOLLARS FOR A PAIR OF REAL ONLY WORN TWICE CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN HEELS…. The shame! Don’t call yourself a fashion expert if you think anyone would ever sell these shoes for less than $700. An embarrassment to the fashion world.

One of my first reviews ever but felt the need to share my experience after some thought. I've gone to Buffalo Exchange once a few years ago to sell clothes & left with about $45 for clothes not nearly as nice as the ones I wanted to sell a few weeks ago. I brought about 15 items with pieces from Michael Kors, Ralph Lauren, Free People & various other brands. All in wonderful condition, I've uploaded photos for reference. I live a little over 30 miles from the store & through small talk mentioned I live quite a distance away to the girl helping, but based on my past experience felt it would be worth the trip. Unlike the customers before me, she begins getting second opinions from another employee to let her decide that ONE dress & pair of earrings (that still have the tag) are worth selling in the store. I go on to ask about the others and the second lady gives this drawn out explanation of how they have to predict what will sell off their racks so they don't lose money by eventually donating them if they don't resell. What a tragedy to donate clothes to people in need, right? Not even decent enough to to cover the gas I wasted, they offer me $12 in store credit or $7 cash and finish with "sooo is there anything else we can help you with?" So lame. I'm sure people have had better experiences, but the situation confirmed I won't return to sell OR buy. Don't make the trip unless you're okay with the chance of only getting a few bucks served with blatant inconsideration for your efforts.
