Went in on 4/29. Gentleman working was extremely helpful and even helped me and my wife make a decision that was actually the cheaper of 2 freezers since it would fit our needs better. Called in on 4/30 to purchase over the phone after comparing prices. The lady was a genuine sweetheart. She was also extremely helpful and polite.

Buy local.

Purchased the Speed Queen washer and dryer. They came out and installed next day. Very professional and helpful.
A few months later the dryer had a faulty switch on it called and a repair tech came out a few days later. Again very professional and courteous help. I will never go big box store again. There's no replacement for true professionals.

For being an appliance place there seems to be a common lack of knowledge in Washing machines and customer service, which is surprising seeing as long as they've been in business. They Refuse to honor a warranty on a washer that we Have had since a little over a year. The person they sent out was very rude to my elderly grandparents including using profanity with them and slamming doors in our house. Save yourself the hassle, this company treats its customers like their asking for too much. If I could give zero stars that's what would be posted. Shame on you Broadway appliances DO BETTER. BE BETTER, your run a business act like it?‍♀️

Used these people for repairs and thought they were good. Though it always took a long time to get repairmen out. Like to help out small businesses but I’m done with that. Bought new washer/dryer from them. Washer lasted 1 1/2 year. Of course out of warranty! Repairman kept saying you should have gotten a 5 year warranty. That’s nice to know after the fact. Didn’t know I had a choice. Will just use big box stores, get just as good service or better from them.

Edit: you can tell the way that they treat their customers by the way that they respond to their negative reviews, take a moment to go through the list and look at how they respond, defensively, with anger, and with an attitude. They do not appreciate their customers.

So the man that owns the company showed up to my house rang my doorbell. I have a spinal fusion on L3, L4, L5 and S1 so sometimes I can't move as quickly as I need to unfortunately because I've had three spinal surgeries this year.

I told him through my ring doorbell that I was in the garage and I would be up there momentarily

He rolled his eyes and said he couldn't hear me even though when I listen to the playback, the feedback came through crystal clear

I said I'm in the garage it will be literally just a moment. Just give me a moment to get up there. He waited no more than 30 seconds and then he turned around and I saw him walking away from the house.

I then did my best to run around the house and catch him and say sir it will literally be 30 seconds because I am selling a dryer out of my garage right now and they are handing me the money

He said, and I quote "it better be just a moment" in a very rude demeaning tone.

I then stated it's literally been 30 seconds, but if you have to leave, I guess you have to leave he said no more words to me got in his truck slammed his door and drove away.

I canceled a client of mine so that I was able to be here for the amount of time that he needed to work on that appliance. I was accommodating and I could not help that the person that was coming to purchase my dryer out of the garage just so happened to be finishing up when he showed up.

I called the store and the owners wife got on the phone and told me that I should have been ready and waiting and canceled any other things that I was doing to be ready for him and I said he literally had to stand at the door for 30 seconds you guys sold us an appliance that does not work and you guys through the landlord under the bus saying that he called in and asked for the cheapest thing and said that it was all that he could afford.

I told her do not send that man back to my house again because of how rude he treated me. If I was you guys I would go literally anywhere else

I am usually not a confrontational person and am typically very understanding, but this company was terrible and very unprofessional. We had purchased a new stove and fridge in late March, and with two weeks of having it while making Easter dinner the oven and one of the burners messed up and stopped working. After calling the company that produces the appliances, they sent a worker from Broadway to come and fix. It took about 3 weeks for us to get someone to come, and this man was nice and ordered the parts for my grandparents, and told them to expect about 2 weeks before the parts arrive. 4 weeks go by till someone calls saying the parts finally came in, and an extremely rude old man who is said to be the owner of the store came to "fix it" with a harness. While here, he ignored and blew off my grandparents who were trying to ask questions and seemed to have no valuable customer service skills. But, he installed the product and seemingly fixed the stove. Then, not even a week goes by, and the stove broke AGAIN. So we called the company again to get someone else to come out, and we had to wait another 3 weeks for someone to come out. The next guy that came out was extremely nice and explained everything that was going on, and seemed to be very professional. He explained that the first guy that came to fix it (the rude old man) installed the wrong part, and that they had to order another one. My grandparents were admittedly frustrated and wanted to know when this part was going to come and how long it was going to take, because my sister was graduating and we really needed the stove for her party, and we already had gone over a month without a stove. He thoughtfully explained that it would take some time and recommended we call the manufacturing company again to complain. 4 weeks went by, and we had not heard anything so my uncle called Broadway to ask what was going on, and was directed to the owner who said that my grandparents were extremely rude and belligerent to the last man who came, and that they refuse to come back. And we were confused because we thought that it was a positive experience. So my uncle asked why they didn't call my grandparents and give them the news, and they replied that they didn't have to do that and we didn't deserve that courtesy. So, my dad called the manufacture and complained about what happened, to where the manufacture replied that they couldn't do that and that they would call and get someone to come the following Friday. My grandpa and I waited at the house that whole day and they never showed up or called to say they were not coming. Now, we have to go through a whole different company, and have gone almost three months without a stove. I am not the type of person to leave a bad review, but I have had to watch my poor grandparents go without a stove and be upset and struggling to make meals. This companies behavior is unacceptable and I would not recommend them ton anyone.
