Had a horrible experience with this store. I ordered a book from their website in December. A book arrived but it was not the book I ordered (I did not want the book that arrived). I emailed to hopefully fix this - no answer. I call but the person I need to talk to is unavailable but they will call me back - no call back. I call again and finally reach someone who will discuss this with me. They admit it is their error and that they entered the wrong information on their website. They do not have the book I wanted. They will not refund but offer a gift card instead - not ideal, but fine. No gift card ever arrives. I do not recommend this place at all. If they make a mistake, they will not help you fix it one bit.

Lovely book store! Has a great collection of new releases and new to paperback releases, a lot of cool cookbooks and Long Island/Montauk related nonfiction. The layout is easy to navigate and has lots of space for walking through and flipping through stuff. The staff recommended section was a treat as well! I was able to find something I hadn’t heard of before. Staff really friendly as well. A pretty bookstore that I will be adding to my rotation whenever I visit!

Great local bookstore with a fabulous selection of the latest bestsellers, coffee table books, local interest, and a great kids section! They also put on fantastic events and programming with lots of authors (both in-person and virtual). Definitely stop by if you are in the village!

One of my favorite book stores. I like to pick out one of the local selections without reading anything about it beforehand. Perfect location, wonderful staff. A must visit if you are visiting the Hamptons or Montauk. Also, you never know who you'll see in the bookstore. It's a bit of a drive from me in the Philly 'burbs, but my Mom and I like to visit and spend time together. I just tell her "It's only two hours from Brooklyn" 🙂

Really great customer service for online orders. I ordered from Canada and was hit with a high duty charge due to an honest mistake with an incorrect shipping label. Jesse couldn't have been nicer and more helpful, sorting it out immediately on a Sunday morning.
Wouldn't hesitate for a second in ordering again, hope I can visit in person soon!

A great small bookstore that has been a fixture in town since forever. I remember it when it used to be across the street next to the movie theater with creaky wood floors. They'll special order you anything and they are super duper nice. Great selection for the kiddos too. Go!
