I placed an order with this company by way of the internet. I chose my arrangement and I proceeded to purchase it using PayPal. I placed this order late on a Sunday evening. 8 a.m. Monday morning I receive an email from someone purporting to be from this company. I was informed that the Arrangement that I have selected was not available. You would think these people would go to their website and put a statement on whether or not the arrangements were available. Apparently, that is too much to ask. I allowed the florist to change or substitute the arrangement. I requested that they take a photograph and forward it to me via email however Blue Hills greenhouses insisted that that would not be possible. So much for customer service they can't provide what I ordered and they can't even be bothered to send me a photograph of what they like to substitute.Then they contact me to say that whatever flowers they use will not last 48 hours. So they want to now change the delivery date. So I respond by telling them that I sure hope they can make it as promised Or there will be consequences and I outline those consequences specifically. The individual that I had been corresponding with chose to cancel my order rather than try and satisfy me. Fortunately for me A competitor in the same zip code called Kayla's cut flowers was was happy to send me a photograph of the arrangement Once it was complete. Under no circumstances, should you ever Call upon Blue Hill greenhouses For arrangements over the Internet. This appears to be a shabby run Business that is only interested in Making things convenient for themselves.

We use Blue Hills Greenhouse for every occasion. They always have amazing floral arrangements and take the time to hand write the personalized note word for word as to what you want it to read. Very pleasant to speak to and if you order online and they are unable to fulfill the order you want they will call and/or email you so you know and can choose something different. They always deliver in a very timely manner, same day if requested and call the recipient to make sure they receive the arrangement. We would highly recommend them for all of you floral needs!

Two years ago, I gave them a five star rating. Two years later, I'd give them a one star rating, only because, I can't issue a zero. Sorely disappointed. Arrangement was dying before the seventh day. Spoke with someone, they were to deliver fresh flowers to replace the ones that died within a three to four day length of time. Needless to say, they did not replace, nor did they give the courtesy of a phone call to say that they weren't delivering the replacement flowers as promised. Talk about " what a difference a day makes" I can sadly attest to that!!

Paid over $90 for a beautiful, Deluxe arrangement, to be delivered on a Friday. Received the following day (Saturday), a very disappointing “fluff” with hardly any roses. What a rip-off

Blue Hills Greenhouses has beautiful colorful flowers in their greenhouses and they are located on Blue Hills Avenue Bloomfield,CT people who live in Hartford goes to the Blue Hills greenhouses to buy flowers opens in the spring summer and fall and close in the winter and reopens every spring.

I previously stumbled on a review stating that the manner in which the florist acted was extremely unprofessional, but I had no idea until I gave them a chance anyways. I called the number provided and what sounds like an older man picked up. right away he sounded unpleasant and not happy but I continued the conversation. I asked him the size of the arrangement and how much it would be for a different size and he seemed to grow aggravated with me. I stated that this arrangement would be going to a cancer patient and he really was unbothered by it and cared less. He then asked me for the address it was going to I said please give me a minute and he started to huff and puff and told me he has other people. At that point I told him I think this would not work out and he told me he didnt care and was completely rude. the experience was HORRIBLEEEEEE. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME.

The customer service from this place is horrible. Called for 2 days in a row with no one picking up. Finally left a message and got a call back. They didn't have any flowers or vases from their website. Owner was extremely rude amd impatient when I tried to get a similar arrangement. Told me to leave it up to their designer. This was my 2nd time trying to use them because they are in town. Would not recommend at all.
