Quite disappointed by our experience. We went here because we like to try locally owned places. We have a lot of experience with various styles of appliances. Currently, we are only looking for a refrigerator. We went in stating what we're looking for is a top freezer, the largest cubic feet available. No ice or water. We have a GE Opal ice dispenser that we love and don't use our current freezer for that. We were informed by Yuriy that those ice makers just mold (according to his "son's experience; he just threw his out") and are too expensive. We explained that we know what we like and prefer our ice maker instead of taking up freezer space. He continued to inform us that people don't want the top freezer. We explained that we've had them all & that's what we prefer. The kicker was when he walked us to the clearance. Apparently, those "that prefer top freezers, want to see clearance, too." No sir. Those that prefer top freezers are mature enough to know what they want and not be persuaded by your tactics. We found what we wanted elsewhere. Luckily, others were willing to listen and help us to find what we were looking for.

It is very unfortunate that he couldn't represent this company better.

My husband and I went here today (10/13/24) to purchase a new refrigerator. We lost ours during Hurricane Milton and wanted to shop local instead of going to Home Depot or Lowe’s. Worst decision we made for the day. We were not treated kindly at all and the experience was unpleasant and uncomfortable. I could tell we were not welcomed there at all. When we walked in, the one salesman that was not working with anyone looked up at us and quickly looked down. We assumed he was busy so we continued to walk through and look around until that same salesman walked by us and gave us the most disgusted and rude look. At that point we knew they definitely didn’t want our business, so we left. Service like this is why people go to places like Home Depot and Lowe’s. We will never shop here or recommend this appliance store to anyone.

I ordered a new washing machine online Nov 28th. It was in the Port Charlotte store on Nov 29th. Mike at the store had me checked out and loaded in 10 minutes and an hour later I was back home washing clothes. Unbelievable! Great communications and service. I would highly recommend this store.

Mike Steitz our sales person was great. Professional and knowledgeable about products. We purchased an LG induction range based on his opinions and could not be happier with our choice. It’s important to support locally owned businesses, and Bill Smith does their own repair work, big plus for us. We would have given this experience a 5 star rating except that no one contacted us when our range came in, perhaps because we were picking up the item versus having it delivered? Highly recommend Bill Smith and ask for Mike Steitz !!

Just purchased a dishwasher.
Delivery personnel couldn’t leave fast enough and declined to review any features. Manual was not helpful.
Bill Smith wanted charge for a service visit explain operation on a never used unit.

Ordered new refrigerator 11/2/2024 was to be delivered today 12/18/2024. Truck arrived with two gentlemen to remove old one and install new one. I was told one had shoulder surgery and could not lift it. They left. Now have been told by store employee, it will be delivered Friday. In the past Bill Smith had treated us well.

Bought a new washer and dryer from Bill Williams. We measured wrong and when it was delivered it didn't fit! Bill W. and Bill Smith Appliances were wonderful in helping us find units that would fit in our limited space and the delivery team was so nice. We have used this company in the past and they never disappoint. Thank you Bill and Bill Smith Appliances!!!

Purchased new GE refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and oven range. Oven failed just before Christmas and 19 past warranty. Called GE and Bill Smith service and no grace period was given . I expected a little better customer relations …? Should’ve just went to Home Depot or Lowes . Disappointed
