Dear "Dad Account" It's NOT a joke, it's NOT funny and the only one spreading hate is you by tolerating this outrageous sign. It's a shame you have no idea what the 1st amendment actually means, but that's not surprising to me. The people who scream the loudest about 1st amendment rights are the people who know the least about the actual amendment. Let me help you though,

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

Your "freedom of Speech May or may not be protected to spew such hate and vitriol, but at least decent people have the right to shun you for your backward existence.

The most well thought out store that has everything, the nicest staff and friendly atmosphere, and the best burgers in Tehachapi! Hand made when you order, so allow some time. We like to order and then walk the back way through the campground or go to the playground.

This place is awesome but to the people that can take a joke on the comments board take a chill pill it’s a joke and the truth about those places they are trying to come for our family but we don’t go taking down historic places like there followings so relax and take a joke and to however put that up that was funny keep your humor don’t let them scary you to stop you freedom of speech ( 1st amendment or your 2ed freedom) that’s how it start . Just the comment really irritating and make thing so divided and hateful those comments are outrageous for a joke no one hates against them your comments make that issue thank everyone

I live in Bear Valley. Sometimes, I run low on gas and sometimes on some small item that simply isn't worth a ten mile round trip to purchase it in town (if even I have enough gas to get there). I do not regularly buy a lot at the Country Store, but the fact that it is there is a great thing, even if the prices are higher than the town's supermarkets. If the gas price is too much for you, just buy a few pints and stop again in town (where some gas prices are even higher) and think ahead next time you are running low. We are not on a main road to anywhere, so the Country Store is a useful service for all of us who are not as thoughtful as those as those that expect not to pay for our rural serenity, surrounded by beauty and wildlife. And the grill offerings I have purchased occasionally at the store have been freshly cooked, hot and delicious, eaten sitting at a table where you might even see elk or deer close enough to photograph with your brats. And I didn't have to waste gas driving into town to get them.

Hate speech on the community board is OUTRAGEOUS! Who finds this behavior acceptable? I had considered purchasing a home in the community, but if this is deemed acceptable by the residents, there is no way! As a man of faith, I wouldn’t want my family exposed to such. Unbelievable! Shame, shame, shame. Who’s responsible for this? What was the outcome? Response? Do better! God’s judgement day is real! I’m simply dumbfounded! I’d like an explanation! What a shame. I could never do business with someone who finds this acceptable and yet the store and food service looks lovely. What a huge disappointment!

So happy we have this market in our community. There have been numerous times where I needed an item that I was sure they wouldn't carry, and thankfully they always had it. I especially love their ice cream selection. Plus the staff is always friendly.
