Competitive masters CrossFit athlete - travel often, drop in often. Team here made dropping in super easy, welcoming, texted me the workout ahead of time. Gym was clean and organized, crew was welcoming. Coach/owner is an L3, lead a great warm up and primer.
Would highly recommend dropping in here if you’re in town, or training here if you’re local. Will be back.

I’ve only been doing CrossFit for eight months and, as a frequent traveler for work, I’ve dropped into many gyms. Be Strong in Bloomington stands out! Their programming is top-notch—challenging yet perfectly scalable for all levels. The coaches are knowledgeable, attentive, and foster a welcoming vibe that ensures I’ll return whenever I’m back in town from Texas.
What really impressed me was their nutrition coaching through Healthy Steps Nutrition (HSN), which my home gym also uses. I met Anna, Be Strong’s nutrition coach, and she reinforced everything I’ve learned, offering personalized insights that clicked. The HSN coaches are professional, approachable, and genuinely invested in your progress, providing practical meal plans and consistent check-ins that make healthy eating sustainable.
I visit Bloomington once or twice a year, and Be Strong is now my go-to gym here. Highly recommend!

Thank you to the community at Be Strong. Came for a drop in from Cleveland Ohio area. Everyone was very welcoming. Coaches were great at showing me around and getting familiar with their lay out. I found Be Strong almost 5 years ago (this June) and I cannot say enough good things about this gym. Honestly, it’s more than a gym, it’s community of people coming together to make each other better (mentally, physically, and emotionally). Doing hard things with your friends makes it more fun. The coaches provide the most support I’ve ever experienced, not inside the gym, but outside the gym as well. Their attention to each individuals’ training, sleep, nutrition, and stress management is personalized and creates a meaningful relationship between coach and athlete. Personally, I’ve reached out for individual support and I can honestly say that I’m performing, sleeping, and eating better than ever before. Coaches who care makes a world of difference when reaching towards your goals and with their guidance and expertise, anything is possible. I really appreciate all of the advice and support I receive from not only the coaches, but also from the other members. Make Be Strong your home gym, you won’t regret it.

You will come for the workouts and stay for the community! As someone who has lived in several different states and worked out at a variety of different CrossFit gyms, we have found an amazing home at BeStrong. Within the first couple weeks of joining, we felt so welcomed and could see what a strong community this gym has. The programming and coaching staff are fantastic and it is great to have such supportive members. We are so glad we found BeStrong!

I’ve been going to this CrossFit gym for a while now, and I absolutely love it! The coaches are incredibly knowledgeable and truly know what they’re doing — they take the time to teach proper technique and push you to get better every day. It’s been almost a year now since I first walked into Be Strong Gym in Bloomington Illinois. I met with Drew and the other coaching staff Caleb Tish Dave, everybody at the gym are so phenomenal and so knowledgeable in their craft. I look at this similar to like a 401(k) it’s an investment in yourself. Like a 401(k), long-term participation will show compounding interest and pay dividends in your life. A strongly recommend stopping by Be Strong Gym and visiting with anyone of the coaching staff.

BeStrong has became life changing. The coaching staff is extremely knowledgeable, nice, and informative. They help you out individually whenever you need it. They also provide nutrition help and are very supportive for whatever goals you are trying to reach. First time in the gym? Elite Athlete? All are welcomed.
