If you’re in the Apalachicola/Eastpoint/SGI area, Matt at Bayside Coffee is THE roaster and coffee joint. He uses all organic and fair trade stuff. $12 a pound for organic Peruvian if you do the 5lb quantity to take home. I bought 10lbs.

Everything about this place is perfect ?. The first time we visited St George we passed Bayside Coffee Co on our way back home and I remembered to make a mental note to come here if we came back. I’m so glad we got a chance to come back!

I got a Campfire S’mores flavored iced latte and I’m in heaven. I love that the beans are fresh roasted. We chatted with what I’m assuming was maybe the owner and he was telling us about the beans. Not only is it so refreshing to have a delicious coffee (Starbucks is straight garbage compared to a fresh roast of quality beans), but it’s nice to have great conversation and feel that warm hospitality 🙂 I hope we have a chance to visit again!

Fabulous coffee shop! I had a delicious latte and was served by the owner who was so friendly and welcoming. The beautifully renovated shop has indoor and outdoor seating. They serve pastries in addition to their coffee selection. They roast their own coffee beans and take pride in the quality of their products.

We stopped by here several times during our last visit to SGI, sometimes making the trip over the bridge just for a coffee run. The result of the in-house coffee bean roasting is an excellent cup of coffee. The service is top-notch and the owner clearly loves what he does. Maintaining a 5.0 rating with over 300 reviews speaks for itself!

Magic dancing on my taste buds. I travel all over North Florida for work. My job requires me to visit all small business owners. My job has taken me to all the coffee roasters in the Panhandle and Big Bend area. THIS is the BEST coffee I have ever had. No exaggeration. I told him I liked the scent of earth after it rains. The earthy flavor of Chard and beets. And the scent of my grandparents 50 year old basement.
He suggested I try Get Hooked. Holy Moly.... spot on for my flavor pallet.

I can't really rate the shop as I haven't been there. But their coffee is AMAZING!! The Appalachian is my favorite and I've been ordering it by the 5lb bags for several years. Shipment is always fast and in good shape/packing when received. When we are back over that way, we definitely will have to stop in and try something off the menu.
