I have shopped here for years, great fabrics, interesting notions. But today, way too much Berkeley attitude. I felt the associate was dismissive and, really, was it necessary to not offer a bag for my purchases. No warmth at all. I come especially from Fairfield because you have great Japanese fabric but no more.

Stopped in today to pick out fabrics for my first quilt. The two staff there helped us with some quilt math and let us stay until exactly 3pm when they closed so we could get exactly what I wanted for my quilt.

The store is super cute with lots of fabric choices, I didn’t fully check out the notions but there was a big sections.

So glad we found a new-to-us fabric shop in the Bay!

Highly recommend.

With ownership passed down to daughter Abbey-Shane, the shop has added a beautiful gift area thats filled with great stuff and gifts for all. The new monthly fabrics are hand picked by her, are the best in the area! Incredibly diverse, colorful, exciting and new. All the wanted designers are here. Out of print fabric at regular prices! Lowest prices in town that beat joanns designer prices even on sale. RK kona cheapest in any state!
Ask any question and one will have the answer! The revolving gallery alone brings me back every month!!

Love this shop! I have a shop, I felt at home here. Alethea is one of the best instructors ever, Sally is wonderful. You have to stop in and say hi, if Alethea has a class, be sure to sign up. She’s amazing, along with the helpful staff at Bay Quilts ❤️. You’ll be amazed at the quality of her fabrics and has everything you could need.

My friend & I went to Bay Quilts from Petaluma. Another friend of ours told us about the store. We were greeted & got a tour of the beautiful shop. The two ladies were so helpful in picking out fabrics to go with a fabric purchased in Hawaii in 2003. I couldn’t be happier with the pieces they picked out. I highly recommend this store.
