Very happy with the customer care I received from Freddy at Batteries Plus on Zanella way (just off Skyway) in Chico.
He helped me with battery information and was kind enough to transfer my data from an old iPhone to a new one. He also swapped the SIM card for me. A very nice young man and a fine employee. Will take my business here again!

I ordered a battery online, but when I arrived, they informed me that they were unable to get that battery in stock. They helped me find a compatible battery that they did have for my motorcycle, and it was still a great price and works perfectly.

I’ve had great experiences with this Batteries Plus store. I usually don’t review chain stores or many retail stores because there is such a high turnover rate and each experience can be different, even day by day. Over the years, I’ve noticed that the owner of this Batteries Plus store must be hiring not only informed and intelligent workers, but also ones with great customer service. I just walked away happy, again, from this store after learning a lot about my specific key fob and I shouldn’t even be happy because as it turns out, I might have a defective one. The knowledge the employee had about this key fob (as well as how to open it because it’s apparently a very tricky one), was very helpful to me, as I bought it from a local locksmith and I can take the information that the employee gave me to this locksmith, who I paid quite a bit of money to.

I was tempted to give a 4 star review because when I first walked in, the employee I’m talking about was actually on the phone and the first employee couldn’t open the fob and told me to go to the dealer or the locksmith to open it. I asked the guy if maybe the person on the phone could open it and he said “no.” As politely as I could, I told him I won’t mind waiting for him, just in case. The guy just walked away kind of in a huff. The employee that ended up assisting me got off the phone and said “Oh this kind, yeah this one’s a tricky one.” He opened it right away and began telling me about a few other fobs that have this issue and it’s apparently rare. I mean, the other employee might actually be quite knowledgeable but just hadn’t come across one like this one before. He also could have easily said “let’s see if my fellow employee can get it open.” Waiting that extra minute for the employee to get off the phone saved me a lot of time and hassle.

Because of the fact that 99% of my experiences with Battery Plus have been excellent, I’m just going to assume that the first employee was just having a not-so-perfect day. I’ve been in here enough times to know that this store is above average in experience and customer service and deserve a review that matches that reputation.

I forgot to check the helpful employee’s name and didn’t see it on the receipt but if you see a tall guy with dark hair and transition bifocals (I believe ?), I’d head to him first, but there are excellent employees there that know a lot, including the guy who just so happens to not be able to open my particularly tricky key fob! Kudos to Batteries Plus on Zanella.

I had the battery replaced in my phone. The wait time was a little longer than expected as they were short-staffed, but the price was by far the best of the places I called, plus they emailed me a $10 coupon. I scheduled my appointment online and was able to get in when they opened at 8am, which I appreciated.

Great customer service! My first time going to this business and I'm fully impressed. I called ahead to ask about getting a spare key fob made. When I arrived they kindly greeted me, programmed the key fob, and had me on my way in under ten minutes. The price was very reasonable also! Very friendly and knowledgeable employees. I'll definitely be back for any future needs!
