I ordered some snare drum tuning locks in January of 2024. Never got them. 3 weeks ago I get a call from BM saying their sorry and they'd send out a t-shirt and locks.......I never got them.....

Such an awesome place for music supplies! They explained everything! Have a phenomenal selection of guitars and the created their own amp they sell! They do consignment and had a beautiful set of drums for sale too! They also have a sound room and everything!

Very helpful and kind employees. The store is fairly small but it maintains its charm as well as their customer service. Very clean store and a decent selection of instruments to try out. Not as big as your typical guitar center but what the size lacks it makes up for in quality of service. I purchased a Baby Taylor from here and couldn’t be happier. Considering I am left handed, it’s rather difficult to find guitars that suit me but this place helped me solve that issue. I would recommend 10/10!

I just left Bakersfield Sound Co. I must say that these people know how to one take care of their customers and two know how to make me a customer that WILL be returning in the future! They greeted me and were very friendly! I had to get a restring and it only took the tech like 15 minutes whereas other places I’ve been to have been several days. Do yourself a favor and shop local and shop at Bakersfield Sound Co!!

Amazing experience! Brought in my Fender Strat to get it set-up to my liking. The front desk clerks knew what they were conveying, were very kind and accommodating, and once I received my guitar in only 4 days, they let me use their Fender Twin with a nice pedal board before paying! And I must say, my guitar is set-up beautifully. If you need your guitar worked on, practice your guitars, or just converse with some local music nerds, this is the place!

I've been in here several times and appreciate the depth of knowledge that Manager Gary Rink has. Everyone I've talked to in the store has been very friendly and helpful, and they have some great prices on "new, old stock" items. They match prices for most things, and are willing to work with you on other things. I highly recommend, and I only expect the store to get better over time as they develop partnerships with other vendors, and get approved for "used" items. They also seem very knowledgeable when it comes to repairing amps, guitars, pickups, pedals, etc. Highly recommend.
