The ordering process went very smoothly. Their customer service and prompt replies were a very nice change compared to other businesses. We received our pole barn kit the first week of February. The excellent delivery driver communicated well regarding the time he would arrive and took great care in how he drove through our property. They went above and beyond to assist us with any questions we may have had. We were able to build the kit easily with the general blueprints provided. We are extremely happy with our product from Backwoods Buildings and highly recommend them.

I bought a 24 x 40 kit from Backwoods. I followed the directions which were clear and well laid out. The pole barn turned out wonderfully. All the wood supplied was in excellent shape and the trusses were well constructed.
My only advice is to paint the wood prior to erecting the barn, looks way nicer if you do that.

Working with James at Backwoods Buildings was very enjoyable throughout the design phase of our future enclosed 6,000 SF pole barn. James was very well informed on every phase and aspect of this design type. He even put me in touch with a local installer. His pricing beat everyone’s, with a superior product from what I studied. I will update my review as the project moves forward.

After four months, we have completed the project. The images shows our two sliding barn doors and large Bi-fold doors spanning 10’x18’.

Everyone who sees this barn loves the quality and colors. We couldn’t be happier. We are working on a 24’x24’ cooking pavilion next.

We have since added two more pole barn structures a 24’x24’ pavilion with outdoor kitchen and solar array carport.
James helped me with the design and we received the product within 2 weeks. The driver that did the delivery was excellent and patient as we offloaded. Based on our lessons learned, we completed the build faster than our barn. They look awesome. Thanks again James!
