I've had multiple good and bad experiences here. On one occasion I had a very helpful, knowledgeable sales associate that made my trip very pleasant. However, I've also had sales associates refuse to help me because, and these are not my words, they didn't make any commission from me. One such interaction led to weeks of phone tag to reach a district manager, who promised me some form of discount for my troubles, though I've never received it. So I would recommend shopping here for the deals, but you'll have to understand what type of situation your getting yourself into.

We initially thought this place was a really good option. The sales staff seemed great and we were able to decide on a washer/dryer set on our first visit for a great price. However, as soon as they charged our credit card, everything went down hill. We were told that we would have our order later that week which then changed to 7-10 days and then even longer. It’s now been three weeks. We were called and told that our order was in and that we would hear from the delivery crew within 24 hours. After 24 hours I called and the person I talked to literally laughed at me and told me I needed to be patient. It’s now been over 48 hours later and we were just told that we should hear something tomorrow. They have not been honest with us a single time throughout this process and I would not recommend them to anyone. It is worth spending a little more to go through a company that actually has standards and values. I don’t typically write reviews, but I hope no one has to deal with something like this again.

My wife & I have been here once & you could not pay us to return. We were in the market for new appliances for our kitchen that we were remodeling. This location was recommended by a family member. When we got there we were told someone would be right with us. There were 4 employees standing at the front & as we waited for one of them to help us two other customers entered & were helped immediately. We waited 20 minutes. When someone finally graced us with their assistance we were given the impression we were wasting his time. At this point we were already annoyed with the customer service so we quickly scanned the appliances. After looking for a bit we decided this place wasn’t worth our business. We were on our way out when the employee suggested showing us a cheap fridge. It was a freezer on top model, when my wife had already expressed wanting a French door. She immediately told him that wasn’t what she was looking for to which he replied “maybe you would be better off getting something used off of Craigslist”. Excuse me? Instead of taking his advice we purchased a French door, double oven stove, & microwave from Home Depot. My wife & I have never had such a horrible experience at a retail outlet. So if you want to be treated with respect as a prospective customer STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!

I have bought several appliances from here over the years and have been absolutely satisfied every time! My husband and I were in this past Saturday looking to buy a new Refridgerator. Thomas Robinson was very helpful from the moment we walked in the door! He wasn't pushy and let us look around until WE had questions for him. He gave us an awesome deal! We will be back in the near future and will ask for him again. Thank you Thomas!!!

We went in to buy a new refrigerator and was told someone would be right with us. There were only 2 guys working and we waited for quite a while which was ok, but when we did get help we didn't feel he was interested in helping us find a good deal, but rather he wanted us to pick something out and then come back to him at the desk. We almost purchased one we picked out ourselves, but he was helping a gentleman who was upset about receiving the wrong pricing info and knew we might be waiting for a while, so we decided to go to The Home Depot. We purchased the same refrigerator for the same price, with free delivery and haul away of our old one. We weren't impressed with the prices at ApplianceSmart.

My husband and I visited the Hillard store on 12-26-17. We were looking for a washer. Being new to the area, a co-worker recommend this store. Just as we were entering the store, a man behind the counter yelled out in a very nasty demeanor that we had 8 minutes to hurry and look around because they were closing. I was completely astonished that someone would think to act so unprofessionally. We quickly looked around, although I originally wanted to turn around and walk out. My husband said let's just look. This salesman came back a couple of minutes later and then asked if we needed help. I felt he did this just so he could get us out of the store. I told him no thank you. I didn't appreciate the way he had greeted us when we first came in. We would be taking our business somewhere else. He never apologized nor seemed to regret his actions at all. I would have asked for his supervisor, but sadly I think he was the supervisor. Needless to say, we went to Lowe's. Had great customer service, and never once was reminded to hurry up and look around. We also found a great washer at a great price. We will never go back to this store nor recommend this business to anyone.

Myself and my fiancé went in looking for appliances for the kitchen. The store had very little inventory and all displays they had set up was completely empty. One employee said they was changing out last years models and putting in this years models. But I didn’t get that vibe from all the empty set ups. One of the employees was helping us. Walked away while we looked at what they did have and was told if we had any questions to come get him and he would answer them. I found a kitchen stove I liked and asked what the additional mark down was. The employee complains about have to bend down to look at the number on the tag. After this we decided to see about purchasing the stove fridge and a dishwasher. He pawns us off on another employee saying he has no clue really about the store. The other employee comes out from a back room with a good foot and a half of his belly hanging out from his shirt being way to small. And proceed to eat powder donuts while helping us. The first employee that was helping us kept talking to him about things instead of waiting on us to leave. Very unprofessional on both employees accounts. Not only with the work attire not fitting but the pawning of a sale not knowing your store and the eating in front of us. Won’t be back. I would rather go to a big box store and make my purchase threw them. At least I won’t be pawned off or have to watch them eat or see them not dressed properly for work.
