The delivery driver did not buzz my flat—only my neighbours'—and they did not call either, leading to an urgent next-day delivery missed despite me being home. Re-delivery was possible only 3 days later with an extra charge of £49.99. If I cancelled the order, there would be a charge of £100. As their customer service underlines incessantly, it's in the terms and conditions, so think twice before you order or put extra post-its next to your buzzer.

Ordered item that showed in stock on website, appliance shop rang up the next day to say item wasn’t in stock and would be due in up to 10 working days, then would need to be delivered by 3rd party at a later date.

Appliance shop did a great job of keeping me informed of progress of the order and ended up getting to me sooner than expected. Top notch 3rd party delivery partners too.

I ordered a new washer dryer from them. Delivery options were not clear before purchase, which seemed to suggest it would be free as over a certain price.

However during the purchase with my postcode etc, I selected the "Next Day 2 Man Delivery" option for £14.99.

I ordered Friday evening, so being a reasonable person, I thought: worst case scenario would be to act as though ordered first thing Monday, so delivered Tuesday. I got a call Saturday where they confirmed delivery Tuesday.

However, on Tuesday, I stayed at home all day, nobody turned up to deliver. At the end of the day Tuesday, I got an automated email saying delivery would be Wednesday. This was correct.

I emailed them to complain about paying for next day delivery, I simply asked for a refund of the delivery fee, £14.99 as I did not receive the delivery I paid for! Given the other delivery option I believe is free, £14.99 is the difference between the two as well.

They point blank denied me a refund, which given I have now paid for a service I did not receive I think is against the law. Certainly, it is an awful attitude to customer service, and makes me very concerned if the appliance were to break would they refund everything then even?!

They delivered the goods on time and safely—credit to their delivery company—but that’s where the good ends. I’m extremely frustrated with my experience with this online appliance store. I bought a new fridge and arranged for them to collect my old one. The fridge was emptied, unplugged, and ready near the door, but the drivers refused to take it, claiming it hadn’t been unplugged long enough—something not mentioned in their T&Cs or any communications. Now they’re blaming an unrelated part of the T&Cs about the fridge needing to be outside, which wasn’t the issue at all. If the drivers had said they weren’t taking it because it wasn’t outside, fine—it would have taken my wife and me 30 seconds to move it. But that wasn’t what they said. I’ve explained this multiple times, but they keep coming back with this unrelated excuse. FRUSTRATING is an understatement.

It’s like being denied boarding a flight because it was overbooked, and then when you call to rebook, they tell you that you’ve lost your flight completely because your carry-on bag was too full. If that had been the issue at the time, I would have easily unpacked some of my things at check-in rather than missing my flight. The real issue is ignored, and they focus on something irrelevant.

To make things worse, they didn’t offer any alternative solution, partial refund, or even a reschedule. Their inflexibility and poor customer service are shocking. I won’t be using them again and strongly advise others to avoid them.

Customer Service is an absolute joke. Disappointing and Frustrating.

They took money before they had any confirmation of stock or delivery date. After ordering a gas cooker, they told me that they haven’t got the item in stock but will take a month for delivery. Why they couldn’t say on their website that they don’t have that item in their website
Upon hearing that I cancelled the order but noticed that they’ve already taken my money And now it will take up to 7 working days for me to get my money back and it was for over £700!

I bought a Neff built in microwave from this shop online (not local to me) as they were beating everyone else on price. It was delivered in perfect condition, and I was offered a choice of delivery slots. The drivers messaged ahead and delivered as promised. Fantastic service from a great retailer.
