We bought a clothes dryer and it works great. Besides having a clothes dryer, their service was outstanding. We were supposed to get a side vented dryer by mistake it was a back vented dryer. Mistakes will happen, however, it is how you react to those mistakes. Immediately I received an apology and we set up a date for them to bring out a new one. That is excellent customer service, we all make mistakes. It happens in business. No one is perfect. The delivery guy named Gil Was outstanding. He made the first one work for us until we received the side vented dryer. My first call for an appliance will be Appliance smart.

Appliance Mart sold me a defective refrigerator that wouldn’t keep my food cold. When I returned it to their warehouse for a refund, I was met with hostility from the owner who said he doesn’t do refunds. Instead of accepting responsibility, he blamed me… claiming I broke it by transporting the fridge incorrectly and became aggressive. What an absolute joke.

I was told by his employee the day before to bring it to the warehouse in downtown Jax for a refund! He claimed that customer calls were recorded but denied access to the recording. The lack of transparency is highly suspicious and reinforces his shady behavior.

The entire experience was a waste of my time and money. I had to drive 30 minutes in my friends borrowed truck and spent my morning dealing with his unacceptable behavior. Now, I'm out $700 and still without a working refrigerator.

This incident reinforces the importance of buying new appliances from reputable retailers like Costco, which offer free delivery/installation & warranties. I strongly advise others to avoid Appliance Mart and their deceptive practices.

Please don’t make the same mistake I did. Business owners like this don’t deserve your hard-earned money!!!

Got a dryer here. The experience shopping was fine, it was quick. The problems arrived right after scheduling delivery for the following Monday. First it was the trailer broke down, we don’t know when it will be delivered. That’s fine, communication is important so I appreciated being kept up to date. Monday rolls around and at 7:30 at night, the supposedly broken down delivery is calling saying they are 10 minutes away. Weird but no problem. Run dryer next day and it keeps shutting off saying Air flow is poor. I’m getting ready to call store when the salesman, texts me saying they still don’t know when it will be delivered. Umm it’s at my house but the leg is broke and the sensor for air flow is broken. Since then it’s been a guessing game as it seems the salesman has no clue what the warehouse is doing. One day it’s this is just temporary, the next day it’s this is yours and we need to have a maintenance ticket in. Tech comes out and while it no longer shuts off, the Air flow sensor still trips every load. Mind you, pipe is short to the wall, wall pipe and exterior vent was recently cleaned and felt plenty of air flow outside. So now I have a partially functioning dryer and I’m pretty sure they still think it hasn’t been delivered depending who you talk to. Save yourself a headache and a debacle, look elsewhere.

Very professional and courteous. The delivery guy was also very professional and courteous. He called me ahead of time to let me know he was on his way. He set up our washer and dryer quickly and properly.
