I ordered Purple brand sheets in Paso Robles. The initial salesman was wonderful and helpful, but we told him we’d hold off. After thinking about it, I decided to help a local business rather than just ordering directly from the Purple website. Had I ordered from the website, I could have had them shipped directly to my house. I figured the minor inconvenience of driving 10 minutes to pick them up wasn’t that big of a deal. I was told I’d receive a call when they arrived to the store in 2-3 weeks. After 3 weeks with no call, I decided to contact them to get an update. I was told that they were in store and I could pick them up. I just went to the store on a Monday at 10:15 (opens at 10am according to the website and the door) and no one was there. I left a message on the answering machine asking for a call, and as of writing this at 10:45 have not received one. Now I have to make another trip to the store, and hope they are open, on my way to work.

Just order Purple products from the website, and save the hassle of dealing with poor follow up service and spotty store hours.

My husband and I bought a $3600 mattress from this place. Let me start of by saying that the "Manger" as he calls himself (Steve Bates) at the Paso Robles store has got to have some of the worst customer service EVER! He first told us to expect our mattress in about 2 weeks. We received our mattress over a month after purchasing it. When we finally received our bed, we didn't get the bed frame we ordered. It wasn't even on the order list.... My husband ordered the wrong firmness and we went down to discuss options with Steve to exchange it for the correct mattress and Steve was very disrespectful and stated that they don't offer warranty or refunds. We just got the mattress yesterday! He had the nerve to tell me "Do you expect a Non Happy wife refund"... Like really? All we want to do is exchange for the correct mattress that we had tested in the store. The mattress we received is so hard that we mine as well be sleeping on our hard wood floors! I pray that we don't have to go the legal route to get what we paid for.
I would't recommend this place at all!!

A local staple in the industry, this sleep store has the best selection and best prices around. Even if they don't have the item you need onsite, they can order it for you!

Steve was a huge help with my purchase. I was in the market for a new futon mattress and he set me up with a high quality product. My guests are marveling at the comfort when they stay over and I often fall asleep while in the living room now because it is so darn comfortable!

I never thought buying a new bed would be one of the best customer service experiences of my life, but here we are!

My son asked for us to redo his bedroom for his birthday and he needed a new mattress. We headed here first and we are so glad we did! They not only shared details about the differences of each mattress, they answered all of our questions! We had a budget and they didn’t disappoint! They had the mattress that we wanted shipped to the store in time for us to pick it up and finish my sons room for his birthday! We love supporting local businesses and America’s Mattress store had the best customer service from start to finish! We’ll definitely be back in the future! Thanks guys

I have purchased all of my bed's here since the store opened over 20 years ago. I'm always impressed and pleased with the quality of the mattresses, the service, and kindness and generosity of the business owners and staff.

I just went in today to pay off the balance of my last purchase and spoke to the store owner for quite a long time. His integrity honesty and sense of wellness for his business and customers is definitely refreshing. We had a lovely conversation.

I suggest anyone looking for a bed to stop by and talk to the owner. He's definitely what business owners should be all about. And he never brought out his cell phone to text anyone the whole time! Lol! Love this place!

Tim greeted me immediately asked some questions about my sleep and comfort then directed me to several choices. He was patient, as I had to try them over and over before deciding. He was professional, friendly, honest and knowledgeable. My bed was delivered as scheduled!

The people here are great, very professional and understanding. I tasked them with helping us find the perfect bed. Our salesman Tim showed us numerous beds and had every answer to our questions. He was very knowledgeable with how beds are being designed, constructed and the extra features being offered. We tested a dozen beds before deciding on 2 possible candidates. We sat down and crunched some numbers, they went above and beyond to make our budget work!

Delivery took about 5 days, the bed we purchased needed to be ordered. We were very happy about getting it quickly as we just moved and we’re on an air mattress. I highly recommend getting the delivery & install package with the sheets/pillows/mattress protector!

The delivery people were very nice, they quickly setup our new bed and didn’t mind our 2yr old daughter shouting orders at them!

It’s been 2 nights on our Beautyrest Black Hybrid, we are so happy with it and will be enjoying many many nights of great sleep. I am a hot sleeper so we went with the cooling feature. It use to take me over an hour or more to fall asleep on our previous foam mattress. The past two nights I have been lights out cold in about 5 minutes.
