Took a 500 dollar cash deposit, never said a word about refunds nor did they have anything on the invoice. This company was double the cost of others. Contacted to cancel the next day. He said they ordered my material but wouldn't show invoice of order. Said my job was a minimum of 5 weeks out. They have falsified info to the Bbb altering an invoice. Always get multiple quotes and check company reviews prior to giving them cash.

Amateur upholstery work. Deadlines missed. Promises, promises! Don't believe anything they tell you.

I took them 4 rectangle boat cushion to recover. Fletch (the owner) promised they would be ready on a certain date. Fletch didn’t use my cushions for patterns. Said they preferred to make their own. Had me bring my boat to them and Fletch made templates. Someone threw them away. A week later came to my house and took measurements.
After being promised several times they were ready when they weren’t, I get a voice mail from Jeff telling me the cushions were ready, his mother was in town and he doesn’t normally work on Saturdays and he wasn’t going to chase me around. This was a week after the promised completion date and he’s blaming me.

When I finally received them 1 was 2” short; 1 put snaps on top instead of sides of cushion; 2 had seams on top and front of cushions instead of bottom where they were on original cushions and hidden; used black thread on white material; stitching on left and right sides of cushions didn’t match. Left off a snap on one. Looked like the seats were pieced together from scraps.

I refused to accept them asked for my original cushions back I had given to them. All Fletch would say was he didn’t have them. The only good thing I can say is after arguing, Fletch did return my deposit, but not my cushions. Need to hire an experienced upholsterer.
