My parents used this company for their sunroom in the early 2000's and it's still great to this day. When my family and I wanted to renew our outdoor patio area, we received a number of inflated quotes. My parents reminded me of Affordable Aluminum and they quoted us half the price of the other companies. Very quick turnaround, very communicative, and very clear price breakdowns. We appreciate you!

BEWARE!!! This company gets your money, then RUNS and refuses to fix their mess. And they claim to have "family values", Ha.

UPDATED TO ADDRESS THEIR RESPONSE BELOW: The Court told us to go through the City Inspector and we would reconvene in one month if still not resolved. The City Inspector, Mr. Jim Reeves, came out and FORCED THEM to take the whole thing down and rebuild it. So, no... NO ONE RULED IN THEIR FAVOR. If anything, THE CITY INSPECTOR RULED IN OUR FAVOR AND FORCED THEM TO FIX THEIR DISASTER (THANK YOU JIM REEVES). They say the case was dismissed, yet claim they were "ruled in their favor" OBVIOUSLY LIES SINCE THERE WAS NO RULING. THE PHOTOS SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES. No ruling if case dismissed, so ANOTHER LIE from the worst company in Pinellas!

Where do I even begin? We had a screen room installed last August 2022. It leaked immediately (we had rain less than 2 weeks after it was built and it leaked, bad). They didn't even extend the overhang long enough to cover the entire patio, so it also rained inside. We called them and they added a piece of awning and gutter to patch the messed up overhang and they caulked to "fix" the leak. So, now we have a pieced-together gutter it still leaked everywhere. We had to call them out so many times I lost count and their solution to the non-stop leaks was to add more caulking EVERY SINGLE TIME instead of addressing the real issue that it wasn't pitched enough and there was no flashing. IT WAS BUILT WRONG. Their office staff is rude so you can't work with them. As you can see in all their replies to their complaints, they deny and blame instead of take ANY accountability. We have never ever sued anyone in our lives and we had to file a suit in small claims court in order to finally get this nightmare resolved. We contacted the Chief Inspector for the City and he forced them to rebuild so it meets code. It was virtually flat with no tilt and the flashing was all ripped out (something that occurred during their "repairs"?) They lied and told the Inspector that they didn't rip out the flashing. Luckily, we took pictures of the patio right after it was finished, so we could prove that it was destroyed and we sure as heck didn't do it.

I have been in business over 20 years dealing with contractors, inspectors, electricians, plumbers, etc and I have never ever dealt with a worse company than this. If ever there's an issue, legit companies seek to resolve the problem CORRECTLY and don't get an attitude when they didn't do their job properly. This company denies any wrong-doing and refuses to fix legit problems. For over an entire year, their solution to all the leaks was to continuously add more and more caulking. They added so much caulk that water couldn't even drain off anymore and just sat up there. Lisa in their office is rude and unprofessional. I debated writing anything because I'm so sick of dealing with these people, but others need to be warned. They advertise being around for over 40 years and "family values" which is why we hired them in the first place. Unfortunately, they do not stand by what they preach.

They only finally fixed our screen room after the Chief Inspector forced them to, adding flashing and taking the roof off and tilting it so it actually had some pitch. It should've never gotten to that point and we should've never had to deal with this headache for over an entire year. At least now they are on the Inspector's radar and hopefully this nightmare doesn't happen to anyone else. We are still left with a pieced together gutter and awning and still haven't had a hard rain to see if the leaks are fixed. If our renter slips and falls, they'll have a bigger lawsuit coming. If I can figure out how to attach pictures, I'll add all the pics.

What would I do without them? Affordable Aluminum is by far the best for shutters, installation, follow up and I even needed a slight adjustment to my shutters for Hurricane Milton and they were here the next day! Where do you help like this anywhere? Don’t hesitate and go with these guys! Special thanks to Lisa who has been my rock from installation to anything I need. 😃

I spent 1k plus on a storm door. The door itself was beautiful. Affordable Aluminum installed the door and we have had to have multiple things fixed on the door. First the lock broke. Now the bottom of the door is stuck completely inside the frame. I cannot get out of my front door! Be very careful when dealing with Affordable aluminum.

Great place for the do it yourself person. From my first phone call talking to Monica. She was very helpful and called me back quickly. Then we came to the store and worked with John. He spent the time with us and suggested things that I had not thought of. We wanted things that were special order and they arrived when John said they would. Definitely 5 STARS.

The initial consult was great, Scott Sr. came to the house took measurements and got us a quote immediately. We met with them to sign a contract and was told it would be approximately 10-14 weeks before they could begin construction.

For the first 10 weeks we had not heard anything from the company as a hey we haven't forgotten about you and we are approximately this far out... as a courtesy. When we went to make payments on our almost $15k project they were very quick to take our money, but very short when we inquire about the job start date. At week 14 we heard from Scott Jr. and he came out to take final measurements with the masons, and said all siding is complete and we would be starting first thing next week. Week 15 came and went and they said "we don't want to leave a mess in your yard over the weekend so we will start next week". By the time the job actually started was not until Tuesday 8:30 and the masons not only made a mess of the yard, they broke our sprinkler system and dug up the rest of the PVC piping and left it against the house. At the end of their day 3:00pm, Scott Jr said they will get the yard cleaned up at the end of the project since their bobcat dug it up pretty bad (we had expected this... so no big deal). At that point would have been a good time to say "hey we accidentally broke your sprinkler system and we will fix it" but no he didn't even mention it. We had to call them and leave messages inquiring to what happened to it. They sent a worker out to "fix" it. He did not fix it, and hooked the wrong pipe up to the wrong line. We ended up staying up late after work to dig up the yard ourselves and repair the whole system ourselves. There was not a thank you or compensation for that.

Wednesday nobody showed up to work.

Thursday, they had a larger crew to finish tamping the ground to lay concrete. They tried to add an extra step down which was not a part of the plans and never discussed with us. They complained it was too much dirt and work to bring the flooring up to what we had discussed. We agreed on a slope which wasn't part of the plan but at this point I just wanted the masons to get off my property.

Friday the yard was sprayed for pest control at 8:00 am. They could have poured concrete and let it set the weekend and begin building the room Monday, but the masons didn't show up until Monday to finish the rebar and then Wednesday they poured concrete. We waited 5 more days before the crew from AA came out to half ass put together a room with jagged edges, gaps between concrete and the room, broke out part of the soffit, and when we asked the crew to fix it they stated "this is as good of a job as we can do, and we can caulk it" There were some pretty sizable (2-4inch gaps) that would be caulked. Once they had finished, the inspector came out and failed inspection because they had put the rail on wrong and didn't have enough screws.

A guy from another crew came out to fix the error, and I had showed him areas for improvement. He got a notepad and stated he would be back out to repair and fix some of the major flaws and patch up the minor details. He stuck to his word and had another guy out to fix everything we had asked to make this room worthy of the money we had paid.

All in all, we are very happy with the end result. It is a good price, and quality. Getting to this point was a headache. Scott Jr. is definitely a salesman that will say whatever he thinks you want to hear, but he does not do well when confronted with the facts of what was said and what was actually done.
