My husband and I moved to Prescott from the Seattle area five months ago. Moving to a much different environment, not to mention into a home that was very different (especially in scale) from our previous home, presented many challenges. In looking online for interior design help, I came across Melanie and Adorn Interiors. As luck would have it, she and her husband had designed and built our (Prescott) home back in 2015 so she was very familiar with the property. While Melanie's design services and most of the merchandise in her store are on the more expensive side, we felt that the quality justified it. She is credentialed, experienced, and has a keen, decisive eye for envisioning how to create interiors that reflect the style and taste of her client. We are thrilled with the way our home looks and feels and we are very appreciative to Melanie (and her team at Adorn Interiors) for helping us get it just right. Whether you are building something new, remodeling an existing home, or simply wanting to refresh or update all (or select areas) of your home, I recommend Melanie Davis for the job!

A Sofa Tale: On Friday my beautiful, brand new, extremely comfortable Basset sofa was delivered. On Tuesday BRIGHT BLUE SLUSHY spilled ALL over the sofa. 9 year old daughter in tears, Mom in tears. Five minutes later all was well. I can’t believe this fabric. The blue slushy came right out. I am seriously impressed.

Becky and Melanie at Adorn Interiors spent hours with me helping me choose fabrics and finishes and making sure everything was PERFECT with my rather complicated purchases. Incredible attention to detail! You absolutely can’t beat the kind of customer service that comes with shopping local. Becky really helped me pull together the style and design I was looking for. And now that I have already tested out the Basset quality, I’m even happier with my purchases. Thanks for everything ladies!

We recently moved into a home built in 1983. It is a beautiful little cottage but needed updating. Melanie was initially consulted to provide her advise for house colors. After trying to many samples on the wall, and my wall looking like some sort of funky camouflage, the painters were two days away and we still didn't know what colors we should use. I googled interior designers and, as luck would have it, got the best one we could have ever hoped to find! Melanie was there the next day and within five minutes chose the colors for all rooms. We went with her recommendations and they were just beautiful!

Following this, we knew that we needed new counters in kitchen and bathrooms, but were also finding that if more than one person was in the kitchen, they bumped into one another. So...another call to Melanie for an updated kitchen design. Melanie listened carefully to what we wanted from a functional standpoint and gave us a design that was not only practical and affordable, but elegant and updated. It would never have occurred to us to take the creative steps taken by Melanie.

The designs were done in a timely manner with quality workers and we could not be happier. The home went from 1983 to 2012 in no time.

Melanie and the entire crew at Adorn are an amazing team. My jewelry store badly needed a facelift. I thought I could do it on my own. After realizing I needed help, Adorn took over and transformed my retail jewelry store into a beautiful masterpiece beyond all my expectations. After letting the saleswomen know that I was interested in purchasing lamps, they informed me that it was not possible to view the selection of lamps available in the adjacent room, even though I could see dozens of lamps on display. I was also asked not to take any pictures, which makes it difficult to visualize and make home decor decisions when you are looking at unique pieces. Overall, I felt dismissed in this store.

Before starting this review let me say that we are very satisfied clients of this Design Office.

My wife and I had our spacious home built in 1999 and at the time we were spend-thrift in choice of kitchen and our three bathrooms' furnishing. In the summer of 2013 we decided to upgrade the kitchen manufactured countertops to granite and the bath cultured marble countertops also to granite,.

We visited a local major tile company and looked at the variety of natural stone slab countertop choices. We knew that this not a DIY project and needs expert professional involvement. The sales personnel provided us with listing of local interior design offices and fabricators.

Using the obtained listing, online research resulted a promising Interior Design website, ADORN Interiors LLC. We contacted their office for an appointment and within days we met with Interior Designer Melanie and her assistant Mandy, a newly graduate of a well known university for Interior design, in the capacity of Internship.

The design team of ADORN and us have developed an excellent upgrade plan to satisfy our intent in choice and process to agree on the upgrade. We also opted to go beyond our original intent. This meant to refurbish the entry area and the dining area with 5 and 1/2 ft high wainscoting, up to date glass backsplash in Kitchen and M.Bath, Complementary color new wall painting in Kitchen, Dining are and all Baths. .

While the design phase by Melanie and assistant Mandy were as perfect as possible, the actual upgrade process were not any less laudable. The craftsmen whom are assigned by Melanie are top notch, doing excellent results, I could say, beyond expectation.

At the closing of the actual upgrade work phase, Melanie has spent time with us to stage affected location in the interior of the home. She even relocated some of the furnishings and decorative items herself, or advised us how to follow up to achieve the newly upgraded trend in our overall interior. (We are inspired, and already taking her advise in that direction.)

Melanie has not only shown us her professionalism and expertise throughout the process, but also her very close connection to the client on a personal level.
