We used these people to reupholster two large armchairs. While the initial service seemed fine, after a year they were fraying. While we removed one part to see why, we saw that one piece had been done incorrectly entirely. The other chair was done with shoddy workmanship. Both chairs were coming apart so we contacted them. We had to contact them several times to get them to come look at the chairs, then again to come take them, then again and again and again because they kept pushing the date they would be finished out! None of this made us consider giving a poor review. We only cared that they did the chairs. But we needed them before thanksgiving (we gave them the chairs in October, by the way, so it wasn’t a mater of us being unreasonable with the time. Also they promised to get back with us about if they’d be finished and we kept having to contact them to get anything done, and they began ignoring us). I think about then it was reasonable to leave a poor review. Finally we resolved to go pick them up ourselves and they asked for more money. When we refused, they hung up on us, which solidified the one star. We picked up our own chairs because they demanded gas money to drop them off, and they are still not right. The covers are ill fitting because they simply stitched them smaller, actually, without thinking of if they will fit on the cushions. But mostly just poor customer service. When you do something wrong, well, fix it. On your own dime. Cost of doing business.

Good Job! Impressive Workmanship! Happy with the quality work! This is a mom and pops upholstery shop they pride them self on the work which the work speaks for it self. Octavio was a doll to talk with. I had an ottoman reupholstered and turned out adorable. Would recommend this shop to someone looking for quality work. Thank you once again and I appreciate the love and care that went into my ottoman.

We were undecided whether to replace our high quality couch and loveseat or reupholster them. We looked at new furniture and the same quality would cost three to four thousand dollars. So, we contacted Act II. We couldn't be happier with their work! They do superb work and the reupholstered furniture looks amazing! We love it and it matches, or is even better than the original.

I've read alot of these reviews. If your experience was not positive think maybe you were asking to much? Seriously. It's not a mass production company with 50 employees. Their work is very worth the wait. I left a vintage chair and ottoman with in 2015. I hope it's still there. Lol haha. I know it is 🙂 As I have had them work for me over the last 15 to 20 years. Fabulous people. Christian. All around wonderful to do business with. Thank you both for your hard work. Being self employeed is not a bed of roses.

I had my dining chairs reupholstered since the material on the chairs was a woven type of material which is not kid friendly. They recommended a vinyl which is easy to clean and still looks beautiful at the same time. Til this day my chairs are what they said easy to clean and still look brand new! Their work takes time and a lot of labor so be patient and you will love the end result. Highly recommended

I originally contacted Martha and Octavio in December. She told me she was a little booked but could get me in within the next few weeks. Jan 9 she picked up my couches and they were returned on feb 18. I have a very large set(sectional with a large chair)
I have to say, I am by FAR Pleased! It was definitely worth the wait. I’m so pleased with the outcome. They look brand new! I couldn’t find this quality in any store! They are reliable, respectful, and extremely professional but at the same time they make u feel like family! I’m actually going to use them again and again and again. Will have these couches another 20 years. Thank you so much !

Minus 50 stars. You numba ten. Act 2 has had my ball and claw chair, foot stool, AND a $477 deposit for more than a year, since June 22, 2021. They don't answer the phone or return messages. The front door is locked during business hours. That chair was a gift to my great uncle when he returned from World War I more than 100 years ago. I want it back.

Is it done yet? What's wrong with you?

Im not sure what these last reviews are talking about but I LOVE ACT 2 UPHOLSTERY!!!! They do just a great job they have great quality work I took my couch and they did a great Job and I got it back exactly when they told me I would have it. And Octavio and Martha have great customer service skills they treat you like family! I can't express how satisfied I am with this place. I will definitely be recommending my friends and family here.
