This place is great! While they might not always have what you need, they have a huge selection and most important - their knowledgeable team make this place shine!

We know when we go there, no matter what it is we’ve been able to figure out a solution with team members from this store. We brought in parts from our kitchen faucet and within minutes of walking into the plumbing department someone asked us if we needed help, we showed them the parts and they identified our facet brand by the parts (and the brand wasn’t on any of the parts, it was washers and springs) took us to the section and had the right parts in our hand.

We needed a solution for connecting two different size hoses to PVC for our pool and they were so helpful in putting a solution together with us. We didn’t have this sort of experience at any of the local pool stores or at Home Depot or Lowe’s.

I highly recommend this place!

I want to thank Scott in the BBQ department for his help and expertise. Today I purchased as Gozney Pizza Oven based on his advise. Consulting with Scott has cost me thousands in grilling equipment, but his help has been much appreciated. Scott’s acumen and service is of ‘unicorn status’ these days in local retail. I went out of my way to purchase all of my kamato and grilling equipment at Ace because of Scott. I would appreciate the ability to steal him to work at my business, but appreciate his passion for grilling. Kudos to the ownership and management of our local Ace Hardware in the training of Scott. I hope his tenure yields excellent growth in what I consider to be the finest grilling department in the north state. Excellent work Scott!

Great customer service. I love that I can find special fasteners and parts for home projects. They have a great plant nursery also, and the best part is that they are dog friendly.

Unlike many other big box hardware stores this particular Ace was easy to navigate and the customer service was better than expected. Instead of being ignored while looking for that certain something an employee asks "can I help you find something?" So far all of the employees I have interacted with there have been both helpful and knowledgeable. We're glad the store opened in our neighborhood. It's got everything one might need for home improvement projects, gardening supplies, housewares, tools of all types and much more. Ace is the place y'all.

Super nice, brand new Ace Hardware store in North Chico. Offers hardware, tools, housewares, yard and garden center as well as a huge selection of outdoor grilling accessories. The store is spotless and there are plenty of employees to help!

Wish the Verifone card reader got replaced, rejects my card alot.
There are some(not all) old men that work here that l find are kind of pushy. If you are looking for something, they ask what and then find it and give you the impression that they shouldn't be questioned. Sometimes l give them something easy so they can find it fast and then hopefully go away.
None of the women that work here are like that in my experience.
