I called to donate items to make sure they took what we had.. after my mom passed away in hospice here in Lake city I wanted to give back.. all I can say is extremely rude and was told after I unloaded everything. That they only take pristine items. So I loaded everything back up and goodwill was delighted to get what I had.. what a disappointment hospice thrift employees are. Never again will I donate or purchase anything here..

The positive: Clean store & organized. The Negative: overpriced, shelves 1/2 empty & staff not very friendly. We have went twice & found the same results both times.

Overpriced. Was shopping for supplies for a new craft I wanted to try and picked up a few items. Went to Hobby Lobby to fill in the gaps, and found an item I picked up at Haven. Haven charged twice as much as Hobby Lobby for the exact same thing. Additionally, the staff were less than pleasant, which made the whole experience even more galling.

I'm not to happy with this place. I'm a plus size woman and have never found anything for me to wear. Most of the stuff isn't what I need. I do better at Goodwill. But I have many friends who are always finding good deals at Haven Hospice Retail. Guess I'm not very fortunate to get there when there might be something I can use. Don't stop going there please because this is a very necessary charity. Thank you to all who visit here and buy theirs merchandise. And hopefully others will donate some really nice items which are needed.

The staff is nice. Sometimes you can find some great deals. Their prices have went up some,but not as much as the Goodwill. You know the money you spend here is going to a great cause. Hospice Haven. You never know what you are going to find at a thrift store.

Went in today with my 4 year old who while she was holding my hand innocently sat down on a chair & as I was telling her to get out of the chair 1 of the associates told me that I'm not supposed to sit on the chairs & then she proceeded to yell at me across the store "YA NEED TO CONTROL YOUR KID!!" My daughter sat down on the chair after I had said that I was thinking of buying the chair. So I told the lady that she needs to control herself. I can safely say I won't go back there. There's other stores in the area that have chairs. I'll just go to 1 of them. I left after I told her that she needs to control herself with my daughter crying. I decided I didn't need to use the time I've been given on this planet having to deal with anyone like that. I gave this store 1 star cause there was no way to give them half a star.

I'm shopped here a lot in the past. Now whenever I come to shop their prices have gone up a lot and instead of selling things to help out with hospice it looks like they're just trying to make money for paychecks I was going to purchase a peace from them and asked how much it was they told me it was $100 because they looked it up online and as a collector's piece it was $130. They wouldn't even consider any amount less.

Over priced. They claim to honor veterans, yet they do not give a daily discount like other thrift shops do. Disgraceful.
