We have been purchasing appliances for years at Martins. Moved to a new house a year and half. Bought a new refrigerator. They have always been great. Sales and service fantastic. Now the bad news. Called this week to have our washer checked. Travis said they only service Gainesville proper now because they are to busy. We now live in the country between High Springs and Newberry. They refuse to come out here now. Just very disappointed. Customer service is high on my list when purchasing anything.Thanks.

Not sure how to feel. I brought my dishwasher here to have it repaired. And they say they don't do repairs in-house. And they have to travel to me to do, said repair.. The staff was nice enough. Just looked like they had better things to do on their phone.

When our dryer quit making heat we were in a family emergency after my father passed. We brought our dryer to Martins and they fixed it on the spot free of charge. They stand behind their product 100% and go above and beyond for their customers. I highly recommend them!

We have bought several appliances from Martin's over the years and used their repair service upon occasion. They always provided the best service and are the most informed Appliance store I have ever seen. Today was no different. Thank you for the fast delivery of our new refrigerator. I hope they don't take offense that I refer to them as appliance nerds because I am using it as a sign of the respect to their knowledge and continuous efforts to know their industry. If you want an expert opinion ask Martin's on Main St....and only the Martin's on Main St.

Outstanding service and quality – I purchased a dishwasher recently, with installation. Sales manager, (Travis) answered all of my many questions about dishwashers, quality, and leak prevention. Serviceman (Sebastian) answered all of my questions and was top notch during the installation – in every respect. This was my first purchase from Martin Family Appliance. Big box stores, and installers, don’t come close I look forward to purchasing appliances from this long-time family owned and operated local business in the future.

I have recently purchased a GE Profile refrigerator from Martin's Family Appliance and am very happy with the service and experience. Travis Martin was very helpful in the store, educating me on several refrigerator features and showing value - vs - price options. Once the brand/model decision was made, delivery was able to be scheduled within a short period of time. I wish that I remembered the names of the two gentlemen on the installation crew. They were excellent: clean, polite and professional. The old unit was removed and hauled away while the new unit was connected, placed, and wiped down. I am very pleased with this interaction with Martin's Family Appliance and am happy to offer a 5 star review.

Chris Martin came out to service my dryer and diagnosed the problem very quickly. He was a knowledgeable and affable professional who charged a reasonable price for his expertise. I'll definitely use him in the future if I have any other appliance issues.

Very sad to have to give this rating. I phoned and spoke to Christian at Martin's to schedule an appointment for someone to repair an appliance and was advised that they do not schedule appointments and that they will call the day of to see if anyone is home and they would come out, if so. I asked how would someone know when this would be without having at least a general appointment day so they would know when they should make arrangements to take off work or have someone there. Christian stated he didn't have any answers for that and this was how they are handling things. He seemed very vague so I asked if they were trying to deplete their repair services and he stated, again, that this is how they are handling the repair calls. This was extremely odd considering who I remember this company to be in the past. I have never had this response from them before. Sadly, I will have to locate a new local business to call.

UPDATED Responding to the owner's reply. If I had been given the day that a technician could come (even 5 days out) I could've dealt with that but there is NO way to go through each day, not knowing IF I would get a call. People cannot take everyday off until you called them. Suggestion would be hiring more technicians to service the area OR at least give the customer the appointment day (not necessarily the time) you expect to call so they can make arrangements from work, is better customer service. Being in this business, serving our area, you should know the demand will increase. Employ and train more technicians to grow with the community and they'll have a better experience. I was able to have my appliance repair done the same day but hope you take note of the suggestion.
